Do you lose your plunder if you leave a match when you die?

Plunder says ‘Awarded when your crew is eliminated or victorious’. Does that mean you have to stick around in a match after you die? I guess that would explain why I can’t get to renown 3 no matter how many matches I do or how much plunder I loot.

No, in fact I’ve found that the best way to farm this renown is to finish the world quest and then die as quickly as possible

If your crew is eliminated (you die) plunder is awarded. You answered your own question before you even started

I believe you do. Just check your Plunder total before you enter. Keep track of what you earn and when you are out. See if it went up at all.

Don’t feel bad. I had the same question. Based on the Plunder count I believe you keep what you have looted. Even if you nope out immediately after you die.

This right here. Get as much of the plunder you can get and do the quest then die and go again. Get your levels, get stuff you want and never look back at this mess of an event. The grind on this is just stupid.

Yes, people are just doing suicide runs now, you don’t get anything for actually PvPing.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen lol.

I try to find the current fight between the most players and inject myself. End result is the same, but far more entertaining.

I’ve done over 10 matches, gained plunder, I’m still sadly, Renown 3, finished three quests, yet there’s nothing, no number, no gold icon, in the upper right corner of that Plunderstorm Basics list on my screen.

EDIT: It finally showed up at Renown 4.
