Do you like Void Elves?

Basic question. Really want to see how many people like them or not. This is not a “would you rather have this or that race instead”. Just genuinely curious.

Personally, I like them. I just think the lore is forced and it makes little sense to have Blood Elves embrace the void and then fight alongside the same faction that fought against them and slaughtered their people for years prior.

They’re ok. I’d prefer High Elves but :man_shrugging:

Their main negative is their leader is an Alliance boot licking servant. They need to give him some real personality and not just the Alliance butler.

I don’t like any elves.

Looking forward to classic so the only elves that are in the game i can kill.

Nope. I tried to level one and quit. They are annoying to watch running around with their flappy ears

I’m looking forward to being a monk healer with mine just so I can use that rift one direction and roll the other. No matter which way they chase me, I’ll gain some distance =P. "Yeah, this is big brain time "

I appreciate they’re trying to flesh out their story more and putting them in more places.

I think they’re great. Cool appearance, interesting theme, love their heritage armor. No complaints!

I love my little blueberry Elves!

I have three Void Elves! Two females, and one male. And I love them all! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Also, tentacles are always a plus! :octopus:

Just like Lightforged and Highmountain, I like them for the new customizations they offer… don’t really have much of an opinion otherwise.

They look good, but they’re lore diarrhea that never should have existed.

Unfortunately they do, so Blizzard needs to start developing their story, and quickly. Comrade Umbric popping up every now and then to throw spoopy void dinosaurs at people and wax profoundly on the proletariat doesn’t count. They need to explain how twenty blood elf nerds in a cave suddenly became a whole race.

I agree but you forgot that he always moans about wanting to go back to Silvermoon and wanting it in the Alliance. I really hate Umbric. And Alleria to some degree.

I don’t not like them.

other than dark irons and zandalari I can’t say any of the allied races really strike me as all that cool and interesting.

most of the allied races (void elves included) probably could’ve been something more interesting and exotic.

but hey, having something is better than having nothing.

They are perfection, a much better approach than boring vanilla high elves.

People say we lack lore, not really. Our lore and backstory is literally that of Blood elves. We have always been here, just evolved.

i like them more then blood elves bc they actually have more identity then the blond humans and their racials are really op but i hate farming and theyre one of the hardest to get so i gave up a long time ago

ok but 2 races having the same lore is boring, thats why they had to do something dramatic with nightborne.
