This one I am recommending is called Remember The Night, and it’s restored from 1940. For right now, just keep it in mind, because it’s a “holiday movie” which not many people know about. It stars Barbara Stanwyck (beautiful in this one) and Fred MacMurray.
If you decide to watch it, listen for the voice of “Winnie The Pooh” (Stirling Holloway). He sings a beautiful song that will tug at your heartstrings.
I know. Y’all are youngsters, but you may like this one.

I love watching two old movies. Guns of Navarrone, and the Magnificent Seven. These are classic movies. I highly recommend them.

If you are talking movies from 1940, we are ALL youngsters.
I’m a pre-code fan and I loved it when the directors would thumb their noses at the code. I’ll take Dames by Busby Berkeley for my best example.
