Do you like HAVING to do Torgast?

Do you like the fact you HAVE to do it?

What could be changed to make it better?

Would you want to see Torgast return in the next Xpack?

You don’t HAVE to do it, so pointless question.
Get rid of it.
Plzno :(. Make it like Garrisons. An experiment that won’t be repeated in the future.

Luckily, I don’t have to do it. That’s why I’m not.

if it had rewards that I actually wanted, or even some normal-level dungeon gear or something, I’d be much more interested.

I enjoy it.

Even with by far, the most OP class/spec to faceroll torghast with, i don’t enjoy it much.

I despise the fact that I’m forced to do it. Full stop.

A bigger alt killer than the rest of the mandatory grinds.

How else do you earn Soul Ash for your legondary?

I enjoy doing it but no I am not a fan of anything that forces you to do a specific decently long activity every week out of necessity. Lyriica is wrong and right at the same time. You don’t HAVE to but playing without a legendary…? What is the percentage of active 60’s who do that?

I’m sure there is plenty of people who would prefer to pvp their way to soul ash or raid/mythic etc. but WoW is like nah, you’re gonna do THIS!

I didn’t like having to do it to get my legos.

Give is some actual fun powers. Only runs I enjoyed on my mage were when I got the smart mirror images so they cast blizzard, ice lance and such. Maybe something that makes my frost bolt explode or gives my frozen orb a black hole effect. Idk there is so much just random fun stuff they could add. Them trying to balance it just makes it worse.

Current state? Hell no lol.

no. it’s clearly meant to waste your time and your gold by making you feel like you cannot be ā€œcompetitiveā€ without your bis legendary item. very poor, manipulative, and garbage design.

like, imagine the relics in ff14 being mandatory for progression. yuck.

Repeatable solo progression content has been the one thing WoW was missing.

I’d like to see it expanded, iterated on, and made a viable path for gear progression rather than a thing that’s mostly mandatory and tied to one aspect of an expansion’s borrowed power.

It’s a really cool concept and I’ve had fun with it. It just needs to be less necessary for those who don’t enjoy it and it should be made potentially more lucrative for those who do.

Enjoy it, it being mandatory or not has no bearing on whether I enjoy it, and would love for it to be in the next expansion.

That said, if it was made to be ā€˜purely optional’ with no requirement to go in at all, but maybe even could be used for leveling for those that enjoy it (like PoTD in FFXIV). That feels like it would be best (so those that don’t like it can ignore it, and those that do like it can enjoy it as they already are)

I don’t mind it, but it definitely could be better. If the point of the thing is to become super over-powered and destroy the place cause fun, then we need to be more over-powered. Some classes more than others. Cause fun.

Also soul ash should drop from other places. Weekly chest at the least.

Can’t remember the last time I went there. Very boring so I don’t bother. Don’t care about legendarys either. And don’t get me started on how poorly the quest was written on how to make one.

But garrisons were repeated… class halls and covenant halls. We have mission tables in the game still 4 expansions later even though most people complained about how much of a boring failure they were.

I agree though. Torghast is terrible and I hope we never see this system return unless it’s for purely cosmetic rewards.

To my surprise, I found that I kind of like Torghast so I don’t mind doing a run through once or twice a week.

I don’t have to. I have my legendaries I want, where I want them. But I still run them every week because they’re fun to run around and play with different powers. I also don’t usually run them solo.

A weekly gear drop similar to visions, though maybe not at every layer. This would be great for solo or casual players.

Only if we’re still in Shadowlands next xpac, but I find that highly unlikely.

I’ll only return to upgrade legos. Anduin can stay there, I can’t willing put myself through that. He’d understand.

I hate having to go in.

  • It’s boring, same old monsters
  • No rewards
  • There’s something mind-numbing about it
  • Every floor is basically the same, only the HP of monsters change

Blizzard should either have another go at it or remove it, as it slows down the game.
And who ever had the idea of adding the 18 floor quest, should be blocked from attending the meetings.
