Do you honestly think stat squish is needed?

Why?

So not so much normal/heroic but to mythic at least.

There has to be some feeling of challenge/progression from leveling to end game pillar

Nope. Next question.

Integer overflow babyyyyyy.

lmao.

I addressed this in the quote you replied to.

Number goes up, happiness goes up! This game is 64 bit right? So quintillions are on the menu.

You addressed 1 tier of 1 pillar and then singled out another aspect of the game not covered by anything i quoted.

The " go try normal hogger, doesnt matter what your ilvl is its still difficult" doesnt apply

Well, look at how much our hp pools balloned…

At start of Shadowlands with the stat squish we had 20-30k hp. Now were going to be at 1mil by the end of DF. Each patch increases our hp by 50%.

Next expansion we’ll probably be at like 5 mil hp at the end.

Making levels relative to pre squish numbers is one big problem. prettymuch guaranteed another game wide smash sooner or later.
Make ALL OLD CONTENT EXACTLY the same for god sake.
Classic thru SL should have ALL been the same instead of this joke of classic going up to 30 and whatever going up to 35…and another to 40 or 45.
For god sake…if we can level anywhere in old content then make ALL the numbers the same.
if they had done that then they NEVER would have to scale it down again.
They could add new expansions, have those go higher, then when that content is being replaced by a new expac, they can rescale ONE expansions content back into the ā€˜old’ scaling…which means no more trashing Legion or BFA farming for us so we have to wait till half way thru the current content before we can solo crap from 2 expansions ago, lol.

I dont for the life of me understand why they decided to let us level in any old content, then they kept that graduated leveling in it all.
Just begging for more problems than they wanted to solve

I might have done a stat squish now, so that the whole world soul saga can be one continuous block between squishes.

( I’m not scared of large numbers, but I understand they can get distracting when there are only really a few significant digits )

Not this player. I want only slight challenging content (and am okay with rewards scaled back from people playing more difficult challenge).

This. The number of zeros after the 1st number doesn’t really matter as it’s all relative by comparison.

Yes.

Because we need to start off with less then 100k health doing 20k damage for us to feel like we’ve got better when our gear takes us to million health and 200k + damage.

Not much really changes, mobs scale with us, just a little slower. But we need to see the big number jumps to think something happened.

I gave up looking at numbers, I dont really care anymore they become so meaningless after getting so high. The only thing I watch is dps.

Blizzard inflated numbers way too fast already, they need to slow it down.

I don’t really care how big my numbers. It could be a 1k crit or a 5 million crit. I don’t feel any more or less powerful.

I’d be okay if they never increased ilvl ever again.
