Do you have to be relatively intelligent to play WoW well?

It just seems like dumb people think that the game is too complex. They think there are too many abilities, and too much going on.

Is it fair to assume that only smart people with high situational awareness can see the fun in this game?

According to the forums, you have to be both incredibly smart, and have the intelligence of a newborn hamster to play the game…

I dunno, there’s a clip of some world first mythic raider having some difficultly with one of those nazjatar leyline world quests but as much as it gets memed on, retail WoW does have a lot going on if you’re doing anything serious.

Yes, you basically need to have a Ph.D in nuclear physics before anyone will invite you into heroic/mythic raids.

Depends on the content you want to do. Cause I know clickers and people who have a hard time understanding things who play this game and have fun, but they stay away from the deep end of content.

Well, I am crazy… so no.

On a more serious note though, still no as only by trying to reach the top of the leaderboards will you’ll need to be quite experienced and knowledgeable about whatever it is you want to focus on. Top PvP’er, learn more about classes such as strengths and weaknesses and about macros and addons specific for that.

PvE, same thing macro and addon wise but its more about knowing mechanics nowadays and knowing your role in a Raid and/or Dungeon.

Basically the more you know, the better you are off but I suppose that can be said in general. To reach the top though you do have to put more effort into it for whatever you want to do.

Not really. Ive met some pretty stupid people that excel at The game.

Boring bait. Try harder.

No, read guides and youll be on your way. Pro players simplify it .

Not bait. I have a dumb friend, and he likes WoW, but he’s… dumb at it. New ability? It must replace the other one.

World first guilds are highly overrated. The only remarkable skill they have is the ability to play WoW 23 hours a day for weeks on end.

I’ve played with some folks who have Master’s degrees and can’t clear a Heroic dungeon, and I have played with absolute stoners who are better than I will ever be.

So it is kind of a toss up.

I love those puzzle quests but I can’t hit buttons fast enough to do mythic anything lol.

Intelligent people are commonly despised or ignored.

They either burned alive at worst or frowned upon at best for being quite brutally honest.

If you can move out of fire and match colors, you’re better than 90% of players already.

Fire should burn in real life…people would move a lot faster.

To be honest on the low end WoW is

But I guess as one gets into harder content a little more thinking or maybe a little more common sense is needed.
