Do you have level 60s you arent even taking in Zerith Mortis?

I have about 10 characters in the mid to high 50s, and a few level 60s, that I am not going to even bother level up to take in the last zone of the expansion.

The reason: I just can’t actually see a reason to do that.

I don’t raid, I don’t do M+, and while I have taken some characters in to get some gear and flight there and to do the content (such as it is) any drive to get the others there has evaporated.

I ask myself: why do it? What reason is there to go to a relatively small zone to do the some repetitive content? I can work on the mounts and pets and so on with the toons I took through. But there is nothing in ZM that attracts me on a multiple- alt level of interest.

I guess its some sort of statement about the state of the game now, that I cant even be bothered taking alts to a final part of an expansion that I would once have anticipated.

How about you?

I have a couple I’m not taking to ZM but I am levelings a couple more to do covenant quest for some extra pocket change, 1000-2000 gold per character for completing a daily covenant quest adds up

Definitely. ZM has an easy and very chill way to gear alts with 252 gear and give decent anima for them to upgrade there covenant sanctum stuff.

Not to mention alts can farm protoform synthesis stuff. That gear can be used to solo old content easier.

Several. PVP is what they run. I am not caring about dual lego on them so much. when 4 people find that annoying rogue (me)and get a dot on them who has been busting chops sapping…nothing is saving you lol. Which I get…not on my rogues I too will beat down sap happy rogues lol. karma and all that.

and their gear is pvp vendor issued.

Even the ve hunter main of the season has jsut run story. one char always sees story. then lfr.

But I don’t treasure/rare hunt. ergo she doesn’t fly even. And I am fine with that. She won’t see zm after next week’s story close.

I gave up on Shadowlands not to after release (a month or two). Not judging but just never clicked with me.

On the bright side I have a army of gnomes/mechagnomes low levels being raised. Or maybe that is the dark side.

I’ve got two characters, one on each account, who are doing the whole Zereth Mortis experience.

The rest are getting mailed 226 anima-bought and BOE gear and parked until 10.0 rolls around.

I’m only using two at the moment. Just that there’s so much work that requires only ONE character to eventually be able to unlock what you want and be able to pass it onto alts. For me in particular, this includes Flying, Cypher gain bonus, Memory of Unity. Those things are EXTREMELY important to unlock solely through one character you intent and dedicate to until basically everything is obtainable. The only thing that makes it interesting is certain reagents in Zerith Mortis you can obtain, the ones you make pets/mounts there. Those can be traded with your alts/mains. So to some degree, its not all bad to have a alt or two but for me. I only focus on two for now. This way, I won’t be too bored (Even though I’m using Enhancement Shaman AND Fury Warrior, spammy whammies).

I do use them both for Mythic + and Raiding because I do want to grab me some Tier sets too but I also wanna grab that achievement to be FULLY free to upgrade what I want as well. So, I have my goals at least.

There’s nothing I can say to change your mind, and neither is the intent. Its still something I can do, there IS something I want from there too. Enough reason to do the grind, get what I want, and then relax from there.

I think I have 29 alts or something. I delete a bunch then use them later on when necessary. But my 5 favorites and my main I’m taking through ZM.
I got 6 pieces of 242 and one 246 gear last night after I unlocked flying, just farming all the treasure chests.
It was great. So that’s what I’ll do with my fav alts.
My BM hunter is my main, my other favs are my shadow priest, fury warrior, blood dk, prot paladin, elemental shaman and my gnome mages

Now that I can fly I probably will take a couple.

I’m still working through a few of the covenant campaigns on alts so I can get the armor sets, but the ones I’ve already completed I might take there for funsies.

Going to pull an all nighter wish me luck friends going level this gnome to 30 at the very least.

Possibly, but we’ll see, as we’re going to be here for quite a while. After hitting exalted with my main, perhaps. Working my way all the way through the cypher with another toon though…idk.

Probably since it’s the easiest way to get 250 gear. It’s good anima too and once your main gets the cypher system done, there won’t be reason to use them

yea I took a bunch of 60s there just to loot treasures and farm progenitor essentia and cyphers. made a quick 200k gold, i have a few more to run.

But my goal is just to get some 236ilvl to run old raids. I havent checked the cypher table in details yet to get up to 252 ilvl but given that it requires rep I might do it on a limited amount of alts.

Im still planning on finishing the 9.0 campaign in each covenant for each armor type as priority.

I haven’t bothered with anything post 9.1 on any of my 60s.

The rep thing was a bug I think.

I can’t even be bothered to get a second character to 60, let alone bring it to ZM. This is the first time since I started playing in BC that I don’t have other max characters.

Pre-flying I only took one character there because the zone is so miserable without flying. I’ve taken a couple alts there the last two days though.

I just do my alts there to gear up for gold farming and doing legacy cotent

Same. I’ve lost all motivation. Especially after a bug deleted one of my professions on an alt and Blizz won’t fix it.

Yeah, in Classic.
