Do you guys like the simplistic design of cloth gear?

Right? We need some new pantsuits. And new pantleg shapes!

I would like to see more separated cloth options, like tunic/pants or tunic/skirt etc to change things up a bit instead of just being stuck to robes for the most part. I do really like when they add details that pop out on the robes too that gives them depth and shape

Cloth seems to be the most consistently cool one, mostly because warlocks and rogues rarely have bad looking sets.

Cloth in BFA was nuts.

Some cloth armor looks really nice and a lot of plate armor just looks completely ridiculous, it would actually be impossible to move the arms or legs with all the crap that sometimes is attached to it.

I’d like a happy medium here.

I find glamming my healing/casting jobs to be a chore as nearly everything falls into the same motif. Not to mention FF has the same problem as WoW with reusing the same mesh over and over (Yoshi P PLEASE stop giving us robes with giant gaps in the front.)

Some of my favourite pieces in cloth are the ones with armor doodads on them. Then I get depressed because it’s always tied to the robe, and there’s no chest/leg option. Uldir had a great thing going for it with the pants, but I really wish it had a simple shirt variant of the top.

The paradox of cloth is that there are so many good pants options but very few ways to make use of them.

I wish they could get more creative and give us better shirt/tunic and pants options. Robes are boring and the majority of them are ugly or too gaudy imo. Plus, it sucks not being able to see your other gear while wearing them, since pants, boots, wrists, and even gloves are often covered. Sets like the shirt/pants version of the Ardenweald cloth set are a step in the right direction, but they could do more.

I always prefer the more simple, utility based armors.

Nice to feel like you’re going on an adventure and not some outer space flag day parade.

Farming the Stromgarde set has been fun though, wish we had more ways to get the t3 pieces. Damn rng drop once every couple weeks.

Mail wears laughing in the distance.

The one time they actually got something decent was in Legion, and it was ONE armor set for hunters. Most of Mail sets look AWFUL.

As for Leather – plenty of great mogs especially for DH’s and Druids. Monk sets are decent to match together.

Cloth easily have the BEST OLD. Mogs, but in terms of new mogs they -SUCK- BADLY! I was really hoping for Ballgowns, and Fancy Tunics/Pants combos. More lovely hoods like the Priest set has.

I don’t even wanna talk to a plate wearer if they’re a Paladin, or Death Knight. Warrior -barely- get’s a pass. They get 90% of the love.

I for myself like when Cloth gear has detail in it. [Embersilk Dress from Cata, the Priest set from both Legion and BC.] When it looks laced up, and fancy.

I dislike simplistic stuff. Glowy effects and colors/textures/etc is nice

You say this, shirtless, shoeless, wielding a dead fish and tankard.

What? That’s 100% goblin utility.
I can’t seem to stop queueing into Ashran, it’s hot as heck on that island.

That doesn’t explain the fish.

They never expect the fish and then WHAM, there’s guts everywhere and something stinks.

Gotta take the wins where I can get 'em even if the smell is the only thing they remember

Would like to see more cloth gear that is comprised of leggings rather than skirts/robe bottoms… and some variations on the classic robe bottom through the use of geosets to create more unique robe bottoms, half skirts, etc…

I like some cloth gear. I do feel like every cloth set should have both pants and robes. Get one and get the transmog for the other automatically. They have been doing this sometimes lately but it should be universal.

I want less robes.

Less or more interesting shaped robes would be preferable. The mageweave style is pretty classic for casters and tasteful. A little variety and a reason to care about the legs option would be nice.

No I wear real armor

I love simple armor. I love clean lines with subtle adornments. Like the leather Kyrian set. I’d really like to see more cloth sets that aren’t robes, and robes that are more flowy. Cloaks that don’t look like they are made of painted cardboard would be nice.

More often than not it’s hard to find armor of any type that isn’t bulky with way too many extras weighing it down.
