I really dislike eggplant unfortunately - Though I did make Moussaka once using a pinch of nutmeg in the bechamel. The thinly sliced potatoes is genius! I have a recipe I found in an Italian cookbook - one of those old ones you come across - I tweaked it a bit but it uses thinly slice potatoes, mascarpone, leeks, and a little white wine - ooo, one of those chef’s kisses!

Wholly depends what the topic is coupled with how obscene or ridiculous the comments are.
Game topics nah I mean I’m human sure so I’ll get frustrated but 99% of the time I’m fine within a few minutes after I stop looking at forums.
I make jokes to myself about people online that helps my process for not taking things serious.
But if it’s a genuine serious topic like we argue core beliefs I can get a little more frustrated. I’ll leave it at that.
Say I make an argument that X spec needs a buff. I could get responses that range from logic with logs and sims data to people making emotional responses with just their feelings as their reasoning. it’s the forums, you should expect to get a wide array of responses, including some that make no sense.
The other thing that isn’t worth getting heated about is when someone gets upset that you enjoy an aspect of WoW that they don’t enjoy. When people start acting like their thing is the most important thing in the game, I usually tune out of the thread, because it turns into bickering and name calling.
Why take it personally?

People like to attack on the forums when you comment on the posts like m+ or raiding, then people go thro your profile and attack you for not being high rating or clearing content, usually like high rated players saying im higher than you are and your a bad player lol

God, I hate when I see that happen, or my pet peeve “fixed that” while they change your response. To me just stick to what the person is saying. I don’t think many know active listening skills - just knee jerk responses to prove they are right. Another thing is cherry picking whatever new outlet or streamer to parrot and argument. There’s so much info out there one can use which ever one the backs their belief system.
yep, I’ve seen some of your responses and a lot of times you are correct. What I never understand is arguing “core” beliefs. Those are ideals in a person that will never change no matter the logic of your argument. It’s intrinsic to who they are and is part of their identity. I do have some unshakable beliefs, but they are maybe three - the rest I’m willing to listen and be persuaded. I will try and listen to the latter just to better be able to understand the person.
Us humans are so uniquely different and I think we tend to form tribes with like-minded people that only reinforce our belief system. There are the very few right now that are evolving past that ‘caveman’ infancy of humans that can argue logically and listen well. I think the human race is just tweens (maybe) and have a long way to go.
I was attacked by a group of 3k io players including this vulpera warrior on here, cuz i was like 475 and 2k io, and they all called me a bad player lol cuz i wasent doing higher content, now the gear that i got was just from getting KSM and i just wanted the mount nothing else lmao

Very introspective post. I think lately I’ve slipped and let myself get too antagonistic in here. My superego thinks I’m logical and reasonable - I wouldn’t say “I think I’m the good guy,” but the reasonable guy? Yes.
