Would be neat if there was a small quest to forsake your original Draenei passives for some death metal ones.
I had a draenei priest briefly, and with the red skin, my Naaru heal was a fractured fel visual. Pretty cool. I think if they changed the racials that would be an Allied Race so we would also need a heritage armor set
Would rather Blizzard let the broken join the Alliance like Velen asked them to do at the end of the questline.
would love some fel cracked skin. maybe instead of the naru blessing we have the eredar curse, take 5% of your max health for a shield double the health taken.
maybe instead of heroic presence we could do a " tyrants gaze " making everyone have a small increase in haste.
If they were going to do that, they’d have made them into an Allied Race.
They decided that eredar, who have been sucking back fel juice for a literally incalculable length of time (because time in the Twisting Nether is borked) are somehow biologically the same as your average draenei who has hung out with some holy wind chimes when time permitted.
Half-committal methods get lackluster results.
If they wanted a full Allied Race, they’d have to add:
- New voice lines
- New cosmetics (hair, horns, fel scars, etc)
- A whole Allied Race for the Horde, for parity
Man’ari have no business being in the Alliance and the feeble attempt to justify it in the questline is just… Honestly, just skip it. Just make it a non-canon thing like how we summon a mount by wringing our hands for 1.5 seconds or how we can still go to old zones to do quests that have been resolved years ago.

I think if you’re going to bother adding red skinned Draenei and calling them eredar, you’ve clearly bypassed the normal need for an allied race and can just adjust the passives if you want to. Maybe visit an NPC or something.
They should have joined the Horde.
Sure Velen accepted that one guy’s apology but that doesn’t mean the Alliance other leaders and races and Light Forged had to accept it. They should have said no giving the Horde time to set out the welcome mat!
And to balance things in return the Alliance could get Grimtotem Tauren.
Maybe replace Heroic Presence with Demonic Presence where enemies will take 1% additional damage from you and do 1% less damage to you.
The Draenei are also Eredar.
The Eredar who join Velen, become Draenei.
Dreanei just means “Exiled Ones” and the player character/NPCs who side with Velen become Exiled Ones.
The Gift of the Naruu Racial would indicate some sort of repentance, like the questline spoke of.
