Look at a world quest you would like to do and decide it’s just to far from the flight plan to go and do.
Yes. My joints ache.
No I do not. Ain’t no mountain high enough.
Sometimes it can be a simple ! on the map. This Draenei is becoming very lazy.
Yep.
That would fall under the general category of ‘not worth it’.
It depends if I’ve only done that world quest 50 times or 100.
Yes. Many times.
Is this a subtle “if I had flight i would do that WQ” thread?
Sometimes it can be next to the the FP and Ill go ‘meh’ and skip it
I haven’t done a world quest on my main since the first month of BfA. I don’t appreciate spamming leveling content over and over again for negligible benefit. Let me do content appropriate for my gear for that AP instead.
Daily content needs to exist, but World Quests are the worst way to do it, IMO. They would have been a good supplement to other forms of daily questing, but they’re not a good replacement.
Yes.
That world boss in Drustvar, for example. I could knock out two other quests in the time it would take me to get to that stone thingie.
Distance is certainly part of the discussion. So is how much I like the quest, whether or not there are others nearby and/or on the way to it. If it’s a longish way off but there are three on the way to it, I’ll probably make it #4 on the batting order. Otherwise, pass.
I have more alts than I can play each day and, if possible, I’d like to get all their reps up by the end of the expansion. Sometimes, efficiency trumps exploration.
Not even high mountain?
Very much so. I’m kind of over BFA to be honest but my Garrison is nice and cozy (and there are still achievements I need there).
I only do WQ’s that have a single objective, quick and simple, and worth just as much as any ‘collect 20 of this, 15 of this, 5 of that’ quests.
Ain’t no valley low enough.
I don’t even bother opening the map anymore.
