Do You Create Male or Female Characters? And Why?

Always female. I’m female and it just feels odd to be playing a male character.

Body type 1

Can’t speak for dudes but as a woman I like creating female characters because I never got to play as a women in any of the games I played growing up and it’s very nice to adventure as one. Also, especially in WoW, I find the female models look SO much nicer, I can’t think of a single male model in this game I actually like enough to play, or else I’d probably have a few male toons as well.

lmao you really think this happens to all girls? I have been playing this game since early BC and not once has someone treated me special when they find out I’m a girl

Usually female.

With some exceptions, the female model is just better.

Male blood/void elves are too . . . anime. And have that weird chest-puffed out stance
Male humans are roided up
Male night elves and nightborne are purple doritos with legs. Also, the male caster animation is so . . . bad.
Male Draenei are the most ridiculous looking things in game, so yeah 100% female on playing that race. Also, /waggle

Orcs I can go either way
Kul’tirans I’d rather be a male
Pandaren, I could go either way
Troll, my main was a night elf druid (I used to post under Sunszu) but is now a troll since I transfered to join a guild, so I kept her female, but I could do either
Undead, male, but I gotta have one UD female with the beehive hairdo named Undeadmarge
Worgen: Their male form is better, but their human form is better as female so . . . :person_shrugging:
Dracthyr: Prefer female since the male model is based on the blood elf skeleton
Tauren, neither. I hate overly large races
Vulpera/Gnome, neither. I hate overly small races
Mecha-gnome: AH AHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA no

This. Most tmog looks soooo much better on female models.

My main dk was male since I made him in wrath. When they made it so you could gender swap via barber, I went female in SL. Sooooooo many more fire tmogs now. It’s actually hard to pick.

I can’t stand most female models in this game, personally, despite being a woman myself. It also stems from the fact I played this game at a young age and, especially in the earlier days of WoW, harassing whispers were a common occurrence if you played a female character. My parents had really beaten into my head the dangers of the internet and so I took precautions by just making a male character (this guy, in fact). I’ve just preferred the male models over the years as a result, they feel more comfortable to me even now as I’m pushing 30.

I’ve made some female character, though there are certain races where I will never, in a million years( even consider it.

Since 2004, I’ve played just about every race/gender combination out there because I like variety.

I create female chars so that I can be a big fat TRAP! :sob:  :flushed:

I’m willing to bet that less than one in ten thousand people can just look at a fish or a snake and tell it’s gender.

I liked the Sunszu posts lol

Nothing wrong with that. What’s wrong with saying oni-chan as a big muscular Orc, wearing a pink frilly dress and shyly curling your big Orc toes while you hold your hands behind your back and blush at them! Totally in the bag, I’d say. DO IT HENCE FORTH! :dracthyr_love_animated: :dracthyr_hehe_animated: :dracthyr_lulmao:

… why not? My in-game characters are not a reflection of who I am IRL, they are simply characters I play in various video games.

For me, if a game has a romance or companion system of some kind, then I usually make a male character, otherwise most of my characters are female.

WoW: most of my characters are female, with a couple that are male.

STO: most of my characters are male, with bridge officers based on my IRL wife and kids.

SWTOR: most of my characters are male due to the romance system.

LotRO: most of my characters are female, and the ones that are male never get played.

Hogwarts Legacy: female, somewhat based on my WoW main.

Cyberpunk: the only game with a romance system where I made a female character, not really sure why though since it’s a first person game.

WWE games: Most of my CAWs are female, because in general I find female wrestlers more interesting than men.

Both. It depends on how the gear looks on them, or if there is something about one gender I don’t like, or some oddness in the animations with the specific class I’m making. For example, female Goblins stand lopsided and that drives me nuts. The casting animation on male Nelfs and NB is absurd, so hard pass. Male Draenei are too squared off and bulky. etc.

Male. I’m male, so… I want to feel represented.
I think I only have one female character, a gnome cosplaying Chromie.

Girl because I like to feel pretty.

Male. I’m Male.

I create females 99% of the time. The males in this game look goofy to me. Plus, if im going to be staring at a butt, might as well look good.

Yes. Because those are my two choices.
