Do you Approve BfA Writing?

I personally dislike the direction they are taking us with the current writing.

Lore wise I hasn't enjoy anything so far.

And I'm worried...
Is there a limit to how many times I can say no?
Yes.
no. but what can you expect when they don't hire anyone who knows what they're doing.
I'm still waiting for some Alliance story to happen before I make that judgement. XD
No, I don't approve BFA writing. I think that's the job of somebody in Blizzard's story department, but I could be wrong.
Yeah. The zone stories were great and loved how the jaina stuff ended. can't wait to see how it continues.
It's a no from me.
I'm fine with it. Watching that tree burn down was literally my favorite moment in WoW history.
Waiting for Azshara/N'Zoth to make an appearance before I judge the story of BFA.
Maybe I'd be more invested if my faction actually did something of note during questing. All I can remember of the war campaign is killing some no-name san'layn.

It's all been a blur, lost interest during the leveling process as it had no cohesion. Drustvarr was pretty nice in its own little story, but for the overarching story, I don't have any clue what's going on. One thing previous expansions did better was that with each tier, there was a new arc that was completed per raid. This "chapter-by-patch" storytelling is really drawing things out a bit too much.

Every action or step forward so far has seemed arbitrary. From what I've read, I'm not too keen on the whole flashback thing for the new raid. Not only from a racial perspective, but I don't like the idea of attacking the one Alliance character left that still makes sense: Jaina. All my hope for Anduin went completely down the drain with his "if we kill them, then we're just as bad" nonsense. Many significant Alliance characters are nothing but facilitators for mission boards and the like(such as Halford Wyrmbane or Matthias Shaw.)

It's just that there's not much going on, there's no build-up or foreshadowing. No long term goals or purposes other than "fight the Horde", but the storytelling in faction conflicts is 100% predictable - there's a zero-sum resolution in store where nothing changes for the Alliance, and the Horde's revolving door leadership changes hands. Outside of that, the world goes on as normal as if nothing happened. There's no suspense or mystery as it's the same story being told over and over again.
No, it's awful and why I quit.
I like some of the writing - mostly the zone stories - very much.
I'm not a big fan of how some of the old established lore characters are being written. On the one hand, "Old Soldier" was brilliant. On the other hand, the excuses they gave (even in novellas) for Alliance not offering more spirited defense of Teldrassil were unconvincing. So I would say the writing has been uneven.

I also like very much what they have done with Jaina's character arc.
no,
"we need boats" it's a lame motivation for this expansion.
The leveling zone storylines were pretty neat.
I enjoyed the War Campaigns.
...But dear loa, let us pass the Villain Ball to someone else for another expansion.
My bar for writing got set too high from Witcher 3. WoW is ok for what it is, I don't give the story much attention. Also, it plays out so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. The events of BFA from launch until now would barely be a few chapters.
Ill be honest, don’t even pay attention to the writing. They show so much neglect to races that aren’t human/elf/orc/undead that I’m thoroughly disinterested. I just play to do raids and m+ and occasionally some pvp

When I want to play something with good writing I’ll usually go to any Bethesda/Rockstar game
No I do not approve of the BFA story. This is one of the most horror-bad story lines that the WOW devs have ever written.

In one xpack they kill off ninety percent of my favorite race the Kaldorei.

They went too far with that one for me. The Cdevs cannot repair that kind of lore damage.
No, it's garbage.
