Do you agree with MDI DQ?

I agree. DQ means Dairy Queen.

I was dreaming that a Mint Dark Chocolate Irish Cream sundae was at Dairy Queen… and now I wish it were real…

None of this would’ve happened if the Blizzard team in charge of the rules had actually reviewed and updated them for the latest expansion. Same goes for the team managing the tournament realm—this could’ve been avoided if they had just disabled outdated NPCs.

At the end of the day, this falls on Blizzard. The player followed the rules and got the materials and recipes from in-game vendors. Blizzard dropped the ball, and they should own up to it. A public statement and a proper apology to the affected players is the least they can do.

The best combo evar!

Teams have used the mammoth mount for a skip before, for example a DH can get somewhere then the other teammates hop onto his mammoth for a skip.

Can you tell me where to get that mount in Dornogal?

I asked about transmogs and their advantage

This shines a light on how dogwater threat is in this game and this should be another big red alarm to fix the threat.

I think a few lines above that you also asked if the fox mount gives an advantage and my answer is yes some mounts do and those mounts are not available in Dornogal.

So they can use a mount from an old expansion but not a potion?

Yes, but I specifically asked about your point about mogs.

Which was a point you brought up.

if we want to concede its not a point, we can move on to a different topic.

I don’t really follow the mdi so care very little about this.

But I am confused, I thought the mdi was played with special made characters on a nonstandard server so stuff like this couldn’t happen the in the first place.

Vengeance DHs spammable damage ability, soul cleave, is hard capped to 5 targets.

Any dmg that helps tag the mobs is beneficial to a VDH.

That being said, though, the benefit was not that significant.

Oh finally, I’m glad you did. What’s with that hat? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yeh but it can also be loosely interpreted as not using anything outside of TWW, but Americans need to have everything spelled out exactly otherwise this happens.

It is pretty clear it’s a TWW MDI, meaning use things that are within TWW, but alas here we are.

That’s an extremely pedantic and unnecessary enforcement of a rule that didn’t exist before. What are they even thinking?

Sounds more like to me a bunch of players proved how bad threat is currently, if you have people who borderline play professionally using a pot for threat, and blizzard considers it an advantage it sounds like threat is problematic.

No, it is stupid and sloppy management of the MDI (which, truthfully, I don’t actually care about specifically, it’s just a topic that comes up in my circles).

In the live game, Blizz restricted my battle pet shoulder enhancement from Legion from working on any gear too high (which yes I actually used lol), they can put in effort to disable any of these weird consumables in the tourney realm if they are going to enforce rules like this.

If they did the content and did it faster with the tools that were available then they deserve the credit.

It’s an MMO, why in the world would anyone want to discourage clever use of items to help with an issue a group might be having? Like making use of a consumable that isn’t even from the current expansion in a competitive setting should be praise worthy and shouldn’t get you ousted. An MMO is one of the few competitive settings where something like that can and should be expected to happen no?

I think is fine. Is just like groups using the snap technique to snap mobs to them or using certain weird methods to drop threads of the group or doing some weird pull and tank mobs in certain area to avoid getting hit.

Remember hook point where range stand in the roof/platform and take zero damage from AoE and other mechanics that seems unfair, or workshops where you send one guy in first like a hunter or NE grab aggro and shadowmed or FD with a hunter.

I think the potions shills be allow since they don’t break any rules since the rules states they have to gear from this season it didn’t states they also have to use flask or potions from this expansion only.

There is a transmog npc in the main city and also mount is a spell in your character spell book.

A DQ on bad rule wording is harsh but allowing someone to exploit a loophole would be bad for the competition. It doesn’t matter at all that they’re doing it more for threat than damage.
