They don’t need to be completely different then every other class imo, some overlap is ok.
Lock got ruined by removing all the old Demo stuff to make room for DH, they both could have co-existed.

just a mail wearing tinkerer tbh. I’m not imaginative enough to think of anything else they could add.
Could easily be a four-spec class similar to druids too.
Yeah, it’s that scenario specifically that I’d prefer if they avoided going forward. Because I LOVED questing with Dark Apotheosis, and jumping off cliffs and falling as a demon with minimal damage.
Some overlap is unavoidable, so in that sense, tinkers or bards would probably at least have unique enough themes? I just don’t see when they could make them fit and make a big enough splash.
No, i’d rather they fix what we have, they’re nowhere near good atm. Whether BFA OR SL. Specially the GCD changes
Good God, no. They can’t handle the ones they do have.
A new class shouldn’t be implemented until the current classes are balanced out…
That being said, a tinker or a bard would be most appreciated. A tinker is an easy enough concept to adapt to wow and they exist in lore. Plus it’d give me a reason to make gnome. A bard is harder to implement but it can still work. Plus, bards are the last class from D&D not represented in WoW.
Bard would have a healer spec focused on buffing Allies as well as healing, a damage spec focused on summoning creatures from stories to fight for you, and (why not) a tank spec where you unleash metal music into your enemies and melt their faces (think ETC from HOTS but expanded into a full wow tank spec).
Tinker. It pretty much writes itself. Mechsuit tank spec (You customize your mech on the character creation screen like Worgen). A ranged DPS that uses stuff like turrets, mines and short duration bots (kinda like a petless hunter crossed with a shaman), and third spec would be some sort of healer or a melee dps.
They’re pretty damn close at the moment. Bout as close as they’re ever going to get (fire needs a nerf and a couple need some buffs).
Only way to make them as balanced as some people would like is to make all the spells carbon copies of each other with different looks.
nothing can get me to make a gnome. ever.
I’d like to see a buff/debuff based Bard.
Love to see them open up to a support role, but that’s not going to happen, the ship has long sailed.
Mechagnomes are bad but normal gnomes are ironically entertaining in that it’s funny as hell to be a tiny little midget summoning and controlling demons. And plus, a gnome tinker makes a lot of sense to me.
This idea isn’t based on any RTS Hero units or anything, but blood magic has been ingame for a very long time and I think a ranged caster focused on that could be interesting, with the story around it being linked to the San’Layn somehow. Class could be called something like Blood Mage or Hemomancer.
Think there was some blood mages in Highmaul, could be wrong though.
Yes, yes it is the only class you play. The hatred for DH is well deserved and your bias just shows in your statements.
How about this, how about instead of posting with a simple response of no, you give an actual reason for your no, or is that too much for you to handle?
I mean, is this hatred coming from pvp? Because they’re pretty avg in pve. I don’t pvp, so would make sense why i never noticed it.
Highmaul was a WoW thing though, not an RTS thing (ie WarCraft 3). So far every class in WoW has been somewhat based on either a Unit type (sometimes a combination of several) or a Hero from WarCraft 3.
necromancer, tinker, and also there is some dps themes i want like blade master, a blood based dps spec, and thats pretty much it for now
Absolutely not, hard F no.
The classes we have are already a mess of balance issues. We dont need another wrench in that operation, and or loose more class idenity to another new class that should have honestly gone to an existing one.
the only, ONLY class i would ever want to see in the game would be a new buff class, IE the bard, the problem is blizzard tried this many many MANY moons ago, and it just never worked out.
this will last forever so who cares, if the house will always keep burning just throw more fire who cares
