Then that makes it even worse. I mean if it were auto-ban, then that could at least be excused somewhat, but for a human to ban you for saying you sleep between boss fights?
Seriously?
I’d have been sending tickets about that one, demanding an explanation.
I “self-edit” myself any time I communicate in a public setting. The forums are no different. I assumed that was common behavior. I would have believed that most people would tailor what they say to a degree depending on the social situation they found themselves in.
Oh I did, and it got overturned (like an hour before it expired but the principle of the thing), which is all good, but the fact that even one person looked at that and thought I should be suspended is one too many.
For the most part because I truly believe 99% of all post on the forum are from complete trash players who have literally no idea what they are talking about and simply want to whine , also I was banned for over a year for making fun of people who thought tracing shapes for turtles deserved mythic gear from BFA
Yes, I must routinely misspell words with the “-word” suffix because a corporation has deemed using the correct spelling a deviant behavior so disturbing it must antagonize it’s customers for doing it.
The WoW forums, and any other place where my 1st amendment rights are limited because of, for lack of a better word, ownership. In life, I just say what I think, and if people don’t like it
Yup, I just got back from a week on the beach for using a reference to that person that knee jerks and runs to the manager.
I was defending the company, not the pigs that abused the women. I want the company to improve and recover so we can all continue to have a game to play.
I’m a teacher so I’m pretty good at adjusting my vocabulary to fit within perimeters. I have to do that at work to help students understand, etc. I’d probably use a few more curse words here and there if I could in GD but I don’t really believe in insulting people in general.
