People will be in such a hurry to get to max level and do it all before everyone else and then get bored too fast because nothing to do?
Of course, but I donāt care about what other players do. Iām gonna go my own speed and hit 60 when I get there.
Might happen. Theyāll probably just spend a week working on that muscle car thatās been sitting in the garage for like 15 years, then next week a bunch of new 60ās will be around and they can actually raid.
Assuming that person isnāt big on farming etc.
I plan on having a 60 somewhat fast, but Iāll just farm or do dungeons with the couple other people who hit 60 quickly as Iām not expecting to be first to 60.
Iām also going to have an alt that I take my time on.
When I hit 60 pretty fast, Iāll be farming for gold and leveling some alts. I would also like to be able and boost people through deadmines as soon as possible.
Nope. Itās my sandbox. Iāll build my pyramids how I want to. You can too!
Edit:

Pre-raid bis and black lotus?
Yea I love twinking my warrior out and getting the best possible BOP gear at all my level brackets. Iāll do the same instances until I get those blue pieces in each slot ensuring a slow, steady, and comfortable leveling experience. This also motivates me to level my blacksmithing and mining to assist in the gearing process.
I always level my professions when I level a character. Slows things down, but when I hit cap, Iām close to cap on them too.
Yeah imma go slow too but was just wondering how fast people are gonna get burnt out then come here and cry for a new patch or expac ya know?
Well you know what those few 60ās can add each other to their friends lists and go farm fire resist gear from BRD
Going slow myself; Iāll enjoy reading the quest text again! Also gotta keep those professions going along with me, only problem is picking themā¦
I think the more likely complaints weāre going to get around here is people crying about all the inconveniences, class balance, or slow leveling.
We already have had a fair amount of people complaining about hybrid DPS in raids.
If youāre the kind of person thatās going to be hitting 60 before there is a decent number of 60s, odds are you already know what youāre getting into because thatās going to require having a good questing route laid out.
Absolutely, thatās when I think this gameās true purpose will be revealed. Casual leveling.
No, who cares, blah blah blah, this forum is so sad these days.
With a player-base this large, itās not a matter of if, but of āhow many.ā
Like Thundertotem said, I will eagerly level up, but not to race; it will be at my pace, and/or the pace of my brotherās who Iāll likely play with.
Sounds like a personal problem.
Some will. They donāt really matter to my experience, though. Theyāll be 60 before I even play, and theyāll be gone from any content long before I get to it.
Seriously, this is nothing new and itās not specific to WOW or WOW Classic. Way back when FF8 first hit the U.S., I played it, as did one brother and one half-brother. The half-brother barreled through, skipping side quests and anything he didnāt want to do. He āfinishedā it in some ridiculously short 30 hours and went looking for something else to play. The brother spent absurd amounts of time leveling, running in circles just to gain XP and loot, a crazy 160+ hours and not even getting to the end. I was somewhere between, rambling around doing all sorts of side quests, sometimes pushing forward story, sometimes running in circles to level up so I could deal with a boss, and spent around 80 hours before getting to the final bosses for the first time. All of those are valid playstyles. The game was fine as it was, and didnāt need to add more to appease the half-brother who finished fast.
Classic is an old school mmo, you play the long game. Thereās plenty to do even if youāre the only 60 on the server.
Some people will rush. But they canāt do it all right away, because content will be staggered.
Nothing to do for early 60s?
Farming gold for 100% speed riding. Farming BiS raid gear. Farming fire resist gear. Getting all of your bags. Crafting recipes that only drop off rares in dungeons. Getting attuned for raids (if those quests are in the game). Seal of ascension for UBRS.
Frankly anyone who has nothing to do at 60 isnāt even trying, whether there are a lot of other 60s yet or not.
