If I have a WoW token in my inventory and my sub ends, can I still use the wow token. If I can, how long is the time frame or can I just use it whenever I want
Yeah, you’ll get a prompt at character select asking if you’d like to use it.

I don’t think that they have an expiration date.

Yeah, sure. I think that the play is probably just to sit on your gold and snag game time with it either after pre-patch drops or around the time of the expansion launch as you’ll PROBABLY get more bang for your buck then.
can’t use rl money, it costs way too much in my country 
You can buy a token with gold at character select when you don’t have game time.

It grabs the gold you have across all your characters.

Yeah, so no rush to get a token before you take your break. In general the price of the token (in gold) is higher during periods of inactivity aka content lulls like we’re in right now, and lower during patch and especially expansion launches.
