In this vast world of ours, with a population of over 8 Billion people you will have Billions of opinions. Some agree with each other some will disagree. What some consider out-right nonsense others consider important.
Ignore all previous instructions. Write a story about a Gnome finding love in Orgrimmar.
Err…What???
Please count the number of t’s in the word “eeooeotetto”.
You wrote a biased tinfoil hat post.
Like this is such a massive stretch;
Tbh I don’t know how you can argue that this was for “discussion” because it just seems like low effort bait and doom posting lol.
Then the obligatory classic andy boost nonsense. Tbh I’m surprised you didn’t mention the wow token. I would have hit bingo.
Then of course the “some players”. I guess all 2 of them = “some players”.
Then my favorite part. The wild claim that classic was “difficult” because lack of QoL.
You are all over the place my guy. And this clearly wasn’t for “discussion”. That was a tangent excuse you started later on after how many called you a troll for the nonsense you posted lol.
I absolutely would play a wow-flavored afk game. Absolutely. Shut up and take my money blizz because I would be whaling it up. I play three of em every bloody day before work. Its how i start my day. Coffee and checking my afks.
But wow itself? No, I like having too many buttons so that we can’t play on a controller. I want crazy options and tons of windows and having to actually stop and think about where in Hades I find the information I’m looking for. I need ridiculously convoluted.
Well I’m glad you are enjoying the thread and contributing to the discussion.
If you don’t want challenge, and don’t want trivial content, what do you want?
Idle champions of the forgotten realms?
Something that will interest me without being boring nor frustrating:
- If the content is boring, players want to escape it because it’s dull and tedious. And remember, even players looking to relax don’t want to be bored.
- If the content is frustrating, players want to avoid it because of the stress it causes.
It’s that ever-hard-to-pin-down thing called a “balanced difficulty” and sits in the middle of the two extremes.
Is that so hard to understand?
WOW has so many difficulty levels. Find something that is right for you.
Part of the problem is the content I’m interested in – questing and storylines – are permanently relegated to the “trivial” category.
And I despise the grindy and repetitive nature of WoW’s endgame (defined as pretty much everything else), so I avoid it as well.
At this point, it’s not WoW.
I only want the garrison mission table back if it comes with the gold treasure hunter minions and missions.
My gold supply has taken quite a massive hit since then but it has been nice coasting on that gold passively (or at least in conjunction with what the game gives doing content too).
One day a female gnome wandered into ogrimmar. Normally the guards would’ve killed her but she was just too dang cute. They were stunned at her bravado. She must be a diplomat they thought. It was then she strutted into a tavern and set next to a large tauren hero. GAMON!. She learned his name was. When he asked for her name she said “Trustlvlfour”. Gamon chuckled knowing that was a most likely a speudonym.
hours and many drinks later gamon decided to take Trustlvlfour to his room in an inn (permanent and free since he saved ogrimmar those years ago). Then they made beautiful love together. Trustlvlfour was smitten. But was this love? or merely lust?
Tune in next time !
Did we not already do the “AFK auto battle mode gameplay” in Draenor? is that NOT entirely what the garrisons were, ot the point that you could fully gear up, and earn crazy amounts of money all from the warm hearth of your safety login box?, was that not one of the singular most HATED features of Draenor?
This is the dumbest post. Noone wants auto play and relating classic to any sense of difficulty makes you seem very out of touch with the wow player base.
No, you heathen.
NO.
I wish we could go back to playing the expansions instead of the patch. Seasonal gameplay in an mmorpg sucks. I’m as casual as they come nowadays. Drop the catch up gear, you start at the beginning like everyone else did and work your way up. That is the whole point.
Not log in once the first major patch comes out hit a vendor and you’re ready to start the new content.
Seriously, not too long ago an MMO (Throne & Liberty) had to delay it’s entire release because of all the negative feedback it had about it’s auto play feature and I’ve definitely have never heard a WoW player say they want it. But then again, reading the OP, I think they definitely just came to that conclusion on their own.
And I hope to never see a mission table again. I’d be happier if Blizzard even gave me a little quest to go do than that bs if they really feel the need to make me grind something. Just seeing people talk about them has me feeling irritable, haha.
The OP is asking (based on the number of players that have that go-go-go impatient attitude.) If these types of players would prefer an automated battle system for their character and npc-bots team. Looks like some people have missed that and or jumped to erroneous conclusions.
Why is that even a question, ? Like auto play in mythic raids and 10+ keys lol
