Kinda’ wondering if we really need both Normal and Heroic dungeons & raids. Especially with LFR and follower dungeons and how deep the backend of the game is it feels very redundant to have both Normal and Heroic.
I suppose it doesn’t hurt a lot to keep them, but it would make the game a little more simple and probably more streamlined for newer players. It is weird thinking of the naming, like we do the dungeons in their “Normal” state, then overcome the “Heroic” challenge, only to face the “Mythic” level difficulty but even then it’s like an infinitely scaling progression.
Having these vestigial difficulties feels a bit weird, I wouldn’t be opposed to future iterations of the game trimming off Heroic Dungeons, and Normal Raid or something. I think the layering on of Delves fills any gearing/progression/learning that was once needed from heavily variant dungeons; and even then we have follower dungeons now so it would still exist.
