Title, I’m wondering if we only get hero talents, or if we’re given ordinary skill points, if we’ll get to keep adding them in our skill trees from these extra 10 levels or if it’s exclusively talents at this point on. Very curious about where my current build will go from here.
I think the hero talents are to prevent oversaturating the talent trees while still offering players something for end-game content. The base talent trees would just scale with each expansion’s new level cap, the only changes being different hero talents for each new expansion so there’s still something to offer to players as “new talents”.
This way they wouldn’t have to regress your talents by pulling back a few points until you hit level cap each expansion to fill out your talent trees again or keep tacking on more talents to each tree and creating balancing issues. At least this is my guess.
No extra class or spec talents. At 71 we unlock hero talents, which includes the first node for free and our first point to allocate. The only choice in your hero tree is the order in which you unlock them. Oh and the choice nodes. You’ll have every node at 80.

Thanks, I’m a bit sad considering my evoker got a very fun couple of augmentation final skills, I was hoping to get more from it, but oh well. Choices, choices.
