We got a new game mode, balance changes in patches just for PvP, and a new map this expansion for BGs I don’t know how much more the PvP community wants
A dedicated dev team… seasonal updates… new ways for the community to engage… to be enticed to play
A map… is not enough frankly

Aye, it’s kinda why PvP has diminished a lot over the years.
It’s still playable, but doesn’t get the love and attention it desperately needs.
I heard, a long time ago, that the devs just gave up because it was too hard to compete with other actual PvP games.
Back in Cataclysm, PvP scene took a large hit with League of Legends came out.
Which, is shameful because WoW PvP is really unique and keeps me coming back.
There’s no other PvP game that I own, where you can have massive 40v40 battles on different maps, with vehicles and fantasy flair.

You have to understand that the foundations of any PvP game are completely shot and will never be balanced UNLESS you start everyone off the same.
CoD and Halo nailed this. Believe it or not.
We have a game filled with over five classes each with two or more specs. Good luck balancing that.
I love wow for the PvP… and it really sucks I pay a sub and the devs slap a new map every 3 years and say have fun
Hate to say it. But maybe it’s time to put WoW PvP down. Find a different game.
Last time I counted, it was 36+ specs ahaha.
And that’s not even considering racials and the impact those have as well.
League of Legends has over 100 characters and yet, people still play that, balance issues and all.

I understand most new generation wow players dont PvP but it doesn’t hurt to be supportive
I mean… look I feel like im explaining why santa isn’t real here.
Wow’s engine doesn’t allow " good" pvp. It struggles with anything resembling aimed skills and compensates with massive hit boxes. It also only really has line of sight and HARD cc to act as mechanics.
The game was rigged from the start. You can enjoy wow pvp. It won’t ever be “good” though with the current engine.
I think youre missing the premise of the post
We just want more PvP content
WoW would probably lose like an additional 20% of it’s playerbase if all the PvPers vanished.
It’s jank, but people still like it.
Honesty, I feel the exact same way about WoW’s PvE- it’s largely outdated and wonky, but people still like it. Compare it to like a Souls game or something lol.
Or any single-player RPG really.
MMO gameplay can’t really hold a candle to games that aren’t MMOs.
