Do we actually want Goblins?

Oh man that first pix - KILL IT WITH FIRE

Or just reuse it as the Naga humanoid form.
:dracthyr_lulmao:

why would naga be allied with either faction?

btw this is the correct female high elf model, not the one posted earlier

The enemy of my enemy is my friend or some nonsense like that. Kinda like Forsaken.

Seriously I’d want four factions.
Furbolg would join Nelves and Tauren on one.
Horde would also lose Forsaken and gain Ogres.
Alliance remain as is sans Night Elfs.
Forsaken would join Naga and rage against everyone and everything. Then recruit Leper Gnomes.

Leper gnomes are just gnomes with radiation poisoning and not really a race. Maybe troggs instead?

kobolds please. YOU NO TAKE CANDLE!

Photos moments before candles were taken (number 11 will shock you)

How is that going to work for mounts? I assume they would get “plains running”.

plains sliding

The survey that was floating around asked about a, ‘High Elf race,’ for both the Horde and Alliance.

If the Alliance were getting High Elves, the Horde would get Blood Elves. If Blizzard wanted to try and make a twist, they might add Darkfallen to the Horde instead, so there’d be more Dark Rangers.

If your question is whether Horde players would want Goblins over a Blood Elf race for Classic+, I have no idea.

goblins i feel would make a lot more sense than blood elves.

Thematically they do fit the Horde a bit better, but Blood Elves have been a part of the Horde in retail for so long that most players ignore the thematic clash.

I think the question in need of answering is what Blizzard’s intentions for Classic+ are, specifically, around Paladin and Shaman. If they intend for Alliance Shamans and Horde Paladins, Blood Elves are the only new race that makes sense for the Horde, unless they intend to expand class options for existing races, in which case Tauren Paladins as Sunwalkers might be possible. Goblin Paladins, however, don’t make much sense.

If Shaman and Paladin remain faction locked, then I agree, there’s room for plenty of new race options for the Horde, perhaps even something completely out of left field such as Ogres or Amani Trolls. Yet I think the Devs would still want the Horde to have a conventionally attractive race, unless cross-faction gameplay is an option, in which case they may be less concerned.

I’d love to live in the fantasy world where you think this is possible :expressionless:

You don’t think goblins as a playable race is possible?

classic+ is not possible :expressionless:

Possible enough that Blizzard put out a survey to gather feedback on what should be in it.

Oh yeah that enemy of my enemy thing.
It could work. Though I would miss the savageness of the green gnomes. Troggs just don’t seem calculating enough for that faction.

Forever the punching bag.

uhm, excuse me, but, Me Grimlok, KING!

yes. i want to play my shaman gobbo
