Early on in the beta, when I saw videos of the Dracthyr character-creation, this is one aspect that felt like it really stood out like a sore thumb. If you want your Visage form to actually look like a disguise of any kind, then you’re obviously going to want to hide all your scales.
It seemed like you could hide MOST of those options, but the one exception was on your head, there were two “rows” of scales on either side of your head (presumably to “blend with” your horns?).
It just winds up looking fairly awkward if those are your ONLY scales, particularly if your head is bald. I’m curious if that’s been fixed yet, or if that’s still the case?
Well that’s a bummer. Hopefully that will get changed soon? Seems like they would just tie it to the rest of your scale options; if you don’t want to display scales, being able to hide them all at once.
Well the reasoning on the Visage form in game is so that you look more human, not because you are hiding you are a dragon.
But I would have preferred it if we could just remove all the scales from the Visage form, they just look like a really bad skin decease to me.

Their visage form is meant to be “odd” by dragon standards. So yeah there’s always a little bit of scales
Just role play that it’s psoriasis. That way we can have more representation

I’m just going to say; the scales look stupid. They should be optional. I would personally rather take on the Visage of any of the other races, but at the VERY least, it should function as an actual visage. Otherwise, the form literally doesn’t make any sense at all.
The story basically says that since you, as a Drakthyr, don’t have full Dragon powers, just partial, that your visage form is not as good as a full Dragon’s visage form, and you still retain some of your Drakthyr look when in visage form. Maybe they’ll change it in the future, but that’s how it is currently.
Really hope this gets changed. The scales on their head just totally clash with some of the hair styles, imo.

I just wish they let us have colorful skin tones instead of just human hues. Someone had a mock-up of blue, purple, and red colored visages and it looks sooo much better than what we have to choose from right now.

I think that only really applies to some specific colors and hair-style combinations. And if you go bald, then you’ve got problems regardless.
I mean, given their fairly extensive suite of options, it feels more like an oversight than necessarily intentional. Seems like they would just tie it to the scales on your body or face.
This is my only complaint about the visages (other than being restricted to male Blood Elf and female Human); I want my visage to be completely clear of all draconic features, except maybe the eyes, so right now I’m forced to choose the female Human and use a hairstyle to hide the forehead scales, try to match the scale color with the skin color, or fully embrace the draconic features.
