Lily you’re right I should not have said every component would go on sale. Sure some trash graphic cards might but nobody should buy them. Also a good quality power supply is harder to find a deal on right now. I’m not going to say that throughout the month of November some good sales might come up but this is one of the harder to find items.
If you are building a system you don’t have to buy all your pieces in one weekend. Give yourself a few weeks. Heck if you’re doing it now I would see what comes up this month and buy the deals as I see them. Except on the graphics card, if you have your eye on a 3070, 3080 or you are waiting to go the AMD route grab it as soon as you see it if you are so fortunate. At MSRP of course.
Processors is always a tough choice, if you go with the previous generation you can save some money on the chip and the motherboard. Most games are performing within a few % of each other so you will get a lot of life out of this. If your budget is tight this is an option to consider. Make sure to get the K version so you can overclock, this will add some life a few years down the road.
This has more to do with high tariffs and a strong demand on parts and desktop/laptop oem builds.
