Because from what I see on here nobody likes it but still forces themselves to play it and will cope by calling PvP a mini-game.
Also yes I do realize the forums aren’t representative of the majority opinion.

Few minor issues here and there but that’s why I signed up for Blizzard Surveys and get them often because I complete them often to give feedback.

I still enjoy this PVE game and yes, pvp is a side game , always has been. Furthermore most “Nurf spec X” posts come from this vocal pvp minority imo.

Some specs are inherently overtuned, yes that happens it is what happens with live service games.
I enjoy it. but I don’t spend much time worrying - or remembering - pvp.

Had a decent amount of fun this season, but I’m also someone that is much picky about wow nowadays, I try to play the patchs that seem more interesting gameplay/systems/theme-wise and I think this patch was still pretty decent on those parts. I liked the dk hero talents, +10s for me felt just right early and the raid even if could be better had some really good fights.
I will most likely take a long break after this patch because doing M+ and mythic raiding for me is simply something that takes a lot of energy over a season. I will probably hang around in classic for a bit instead and focus on other games until I feel I’m ready again for another exhausting season of retail.
I have reached levels of burnout not experienced since Shadowlands.

When it comes to PvP it all depends on rating brackets. There are some specs that absolutely destroy the lower brackets but are laughably bad past 1800+ rating.
Ofc sometimes you really do have an overtuned spec which overperforms in all brackets.
I have fun in TWW during the 2 days I play out of the week (which are to raid).
Then I log off.
I logged in on Tuesday, saw yet another Spymaster’s in my vault. Sighed because I recently stopped using it because half the time the stacks get reset in low keys because we wipe, put it in my bags, then logged off.
Not even the Vault gives joy anymore or makes me want to play.
The Spymaster thing is kinda like current Retail in a nutshell. You have a really stupidly OP trinket but it obviously is monkey pawed, to the point where I stopped using it lol.

PvP, I find to actually be fun. I can do it nonstop for no rewards if I wanted to.
PvE, reminds me of League of Legends lol. Everyone feels they are “due” a victory or whatever, so naturally they get hostile if they fail.
I would PvE in Retail, if I was allowed to fail and learn and no one gets upset for it.
But that’s too much of an ask in a PuG environment.
It’s weird I can boot up Classic WoW, people die in a dungeon and everyone’s like “no big deal” and we walk back from the graveyard as ghosts together.
PvE chads in Classic, running back from the graveyard.
PvE virgins in Retail, gets teleported to dungeon but complains anyway.

its fun till you hit that gear wall where the only progression is M+8 for crests or mythic raid. Then it falls off fast and you do something else in game or play another game altogether.
50% of my guild is missing now and we still mythic raid but I choose not to.

Raid was good besides Ovinax, +10s were fun in the early weeks but are kinda just a box checking exercise. Not meta for high keys but I’ll give it a go now we’re done with the raid. My class was fun, raid prog was fun. Secret finding and 20th anniversary has been great.
