Do something about your deserters

How many hours of my life must i WASTE getting to the end of a dungeon just for one person to ruin the whole dungeon and waste everyone’s time just because they left. We need voting rights or something to make the punishment severe or y’all need to make deserters get a debuff like in HC Vanilla WoW when they run from a duel. This is outrageous how many hours I’ve wasted alone today not finishing dungeons JUST because of ONE person. WHY are y’all giving these kind of players a slap on the wrist when it’s ruining… you’re game and community!? Jesus christ I’ve played this game since vanilla and this is just rediculous that after all these years y’all havent come up with a solution yet. You’re literally wasting my time, and every other player that doesn’t have as much free time to play the game. Punish these incels.

Odds are good that if people are constantly leaving your keys, you’re the reason. Your rageblogging reinforces it since you probably have the same crummy, entitled attitude in groups.

Hey, I get where you’re coming from — the post definitely came off heated. I won’t pretend rageblogging is the best way to handle things, and I appreciate you pointing that out. Hopefully, it helps others who read this thread realize that venting like that doesn’t help move the conversation forward — lesson learned on my end.

That said, your assumption about my performance or attitude in groups isn’t accurate. I’ve consistently been top overall DPS, usually have the fewest deaths, and contribute to interrupts and stuns every run. I play my role seriously and always aim to support the group. The frustration was less about blaming individuals and more about how rough it feels when one person can tank the whole key with zero consequences.

It does seem like Blizzard is finally moving in the right direction with a new system in 11.2 to address key leavers — which gives me some hope. Thanks again for engaging and keeping it real, even if it stung a bit. We all want the game to be better, even if we don’t always express it the same way.
