Do something about Shuffle...terrible

Problems with shuffle:

  1. Takes up to 45 minutes to get queued.
  2. When we get a queue, we get players who either can’t communicate, don’t know how to communicate or simply don’t speak English.
  3. The rotation is horrible. We’re supposed to get a mix every time the match starts, but that is not happening. Most of the time I play against the SAME comp 4 of 6 matches.
  4. Rating needs to come into affect better here. I get players “claiming” to be 3k players, but are playing like 500 rated players. If that’s true, why are they in bracket?

Seriously, Blizzard. What are you doing with shuffle to make queues so long and comps so bad? Why can’t we force people to communicate? Why can’t you just do a better job overall with shuffle?

Nothing can be done to fix any of your complaints, therefore delete shuffle. Let’s get back to real PvP: 3v3 arena.

Healing is unforgiving and unrewarding.

What is it that you’re trying to communicate? Shuffle is a bit of a fundamentals check with little room for convoluted strategies.

Everybody is shuffled around and given the opportunity to play with each other.

Vouch

0.o I don’t know how blizzard would fix people not talking lol.

They could just be lying? Or having swapped specs and starting at 0 again.

I get healing is unrewarded. Worse when I peel, bop, root, clone, stun, do a million things to peel healer (which means I am not dpsing) yet, I get very little heals, no dispells.

There are people from China in the same match. They speak no English. How can I coordinate a win if they can’t communicate. No I am not learning Chinese.

From what I have seen, they are NOT shuffling the matches properly. No way I should face the same enemy 4+ times in a 6 round match. Should be 3 different players EVERY round, not keep 2 and shuffle 1. That’s not a true shuffle. That’s a “shuffle 1 player each round”…

Again, fundamentals. Outside of maybe getting on the same page as to who you’re starting there’s usually not much to say. Maybe “i fear first go” so as to reduce the likelihood of an overlap?

Again, you’ve only got a few seconds to prep so it’s not like you can go into detail.

Keep it simple.

Pardon? :dracthyr_a1:

The whole point of solo shuffle is that it’s uncoordinated arena.

If you aren’t dpsing, then all that is meaningless. If there’s no pressure on the enemy team, no amount of healing is going to compensate for that, and at a certain point dampening dunks all healing.

it’s a round robbin minus healers bro.

Yeah, output is king. Good cc/kiting isn’t good if you’re being inefficient.

¿qué estás tratando de decir?

that because of the language barrier it’s terrible?

So basically what I get from everyone so far is, shuffle is a toss up.

If that’s the case, how are some people 3k rated in shuffle? If you can’t coordinate/talk with your teammates I don’t see how you can get that high a rating.

Kind of. Not really.

They win more than they lose.

Again, it’s mostly a fundamentals check.

thats just your opinion

It is, and I’ll stand by it. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

It can be. There are certain games you just aren’t going to play well into, and certain games you’re likely to perform extra well in. It is also variable on how high you are, the enemy team is, etc.

You keep grinding. With enough games the sporaticness of those toss ups gets evened out more or less.

Just call out a target ahead of time, and maybe a cc target. That’s the best you can hope to do as far as coordination is concerned.

Hard agree

Tbh this is just terrible in general. Feels like theres a queue to the queue. as if they have a limited number of slots for solo shuffle that no other queue has.

This only occurs when you have massive population differences between the meta specs and the others. the top 5 specs right now are 1. Rets 10.7%, 2. Arms 10%, 3. Disc P 7.4%, 4. Resto Shamans 4.9%. 5.Havoc DH 5.7% .

So technically speaking at any given time you may have 38.7% chance to face any of the top 5 per character with a 58% chance that its a disc priest.

Given my sub 500 record, I seem to always be mixed in with people from China or people who simply just either can’t or won’t communicate. I called a target, I say “Lets sit that target” then “queue the Benny Hill show”… that’s what I get in shuffle, every match. I’ve never gone 6-0, ever. Once I went 5-1 in the early stages. Mostly its 1-5 or 2-4. That’s the best I can do with any shuffle.

Play Resto

There’s little worth communicating.

Just play.

There’s virtually 0 difference between RSS and “real” 3v3 in terms of gameplay for a good 80% of the players except that you get “screened” by nerds based on your class/xp/socks color and can’t play the game if you don’t fall in the right category.
