It is just crazy now. You have to either let us blacklist an epic or remove this one completely. The vast majority absolutely HATE it. I know you have to see the mass exodus and joins, rinse and repeats every match. It is a colossal waste of time. It isn’t a real BG, its isnt fun to most people and it takes forever and a day…
I know there are some who like it, fine… They are an extreme minority, so… IF THEY LIKE IT THEY CAN QUEUE FOR IT! Don’t make the majority of us who can’t stand it, have to suffer through it… It was a nice try but NO ONE likes it. Please. it literally is ruining PVP at the random level.
** I know some people will say just don’t queue for it, well you don’t get your 65 CQ points if you don’t do the “random” Epic queue. Thats a good chunk of points to ignore.
They need to add the events to Ashran and make it so we win the
a) Azerite Power Reward
b) Conquest Reward
c) Honor Reward
For doing either
One Event
Killing the enemy faction leader
Reducing the opposing faction score to 0
Ancient Artifact must spawn 5-10 minutes randomly after a match begins, not as soon as the match begins.
Players may also zone into Ashran as open-world, and join a raid in progress automatically, so that the battleground is not locked to an instance but is an actual part of Ashran Island, like it was during Warlords of Draenor.
The lag must also be fixed. Ashran ran better during Warlords of Draenor on worse computer hardware, today Ashran is a lagfest–and it’s extremely irritating to see a Core i9-9900K, 32GB of DDR4-3200, and a RTX2080 brought to its knees.
My biggest suggestion is that if anyone says the words “backdoor” and they’re not part of a premade group, they immediately get booted. And maybe shorten the duration of the AA and speed up its respawn, since right now whichever team gets it first has a massive advantage.
Ashran is sort of a dumb experience as a death knight. I just sit at the edge of our group and wait for someone with low health to be within range of my death grip…
I use deathgrip, they pop cd’s and survive the run back to their team, then I have to wait another 30 seconds to try again.
I will say, I wound up in there… and I did Ashran for a bit in WoD. So I had vague memories of side areas and mini bosses and something something artifacts and handing in things to create the tree, yada yada…
But the only thing that was done was straight down the middle, and then yell for the tree building drops.
The whole time I was in a state of: “Wait… wait, this isn’t how it’s done…” w/out being able to instruct in any meaningful way, or know (now that it isn’t WoD) if what memories I recall even apply now.
What they say is 100% true, most hated it during WoD and most hate it now. If 20+ people leave now when they roll it as a epic BG then that says something.
