Do Rshams get more durable in cata?

As title says, do resto shamans get more durable in cata pvp? I am considering playing mine for cata. In wotlk even at 1500 resil i just trucked down by melee classes in seconds. Especially Ret Paladins or anyone with Shadowmourne really. It makes the resto shaman feel unfun to me because its so squishy and easily melted.

Does it get any better in Cata, or should i just reroll to a more tanky healer?

Rsham gets a LOT better, its one of if not the best healer in cata

Rsham was paper in wotlk, but it gets real defensive CDs and more passive healing in Cata making it a lot stronger.

rshaman is bound to be exploded by melee in any expansion. thats why you play with classes that are more viable targets than yourself or classes that can control the game entirely to be that line of defense, and being blown gimmickly up is just a usual day in a blues life.
we excel into casters, thats our jam and thats the points you wanna avoid losing

hows hpal?

a close 2nd whose strength varies on what you’re playing with and what you’re up against

And then we have Disc Priests… falling down to #3 this time around. At least we do still have some strong comps.

Resto Druids have it rough.
