Do rogues exist anymore?

Sin is definitely the least clunky of the specs. I think the problem is clunkiness AND speed of content.
Its like trying to play afflic right now. Things just die too fast to fully utilize the specs.

But then we have outlaw. We don’t talk about outlaw lol.

Yeah that was definitely peak. Plus the rotation just made more sense back in SL when I mained it super hard. It was basic build/spend and then you’re working off of procs. Now it’s such a giant flustercuck that you have like 5 different conditions to watch out for on when you use your Vanish, AR, KS or BtE. The entire spec needs to be gutted and redone. Go back to Combat.

I’m still holding out hope that they will one day.

Edit: I think it’s funny that people complain about WA bosses while the elephant in the room that is Outlaw is just a constant WA class entirely.

Do I need to be?

…and?

Don’t need it; not interested.

I despised those the last time they existed; I’m ignoring their existence now.

I do what I like. No justification required on these forums for anything.

To disagree that rogues are the worst class at doing solo content, you should probably at least attempt solo content that requires more than pushing W and Sinister Strike.

Hey, you’re entitled to your opinion; just as I’m entitled to disagree.

Obviously some classes are better at soloing; that’s not news.

I PERSONALLY have no annoyance in playing my rogue. You do you.

that means they’re doing their job right, you arent supposed to see rogues, they’re the stealth class.

Imagine if I took the major cooldown of any other class and bugged it so that it would reset the world boss once pressed.

/popcorn ohh the form tears would drown us!

Your disagreement is based in ignorance, so while sure you may be entitled to say it, that doesn’t make it valid.

It’s as valid as any other opinion on these forums. Take it or leave it.

My rogue plays fine for the content that I do. That’s all I’m saying.

I feel like rogues suffer from some bad press.

My sin rogue is less difficult for me to play than my shadow priest and some other caster alts. And under threat of death a lot less too. Cloak of Shadows, Feint, Shadowstep, Vanish got you covered.

What I do have trouble with is tracking the boss in group content. I’ve been having fun with the spec as a side thing since Shadowlands. Maybe rogue needs an image reboot.

I have played a Rogue since Vanilla, even a little as an Alt, but this expac I have totally shelved my Rogue for the first time.

It just didn’t feel worth it. Melee has such a hard time… Melee spots are always crowded, other classes bring better buffs/debuffs/raid cool downs, and that’s before you get into the group. Once there, they have to do so much jumbled work… more work for about the same DPS.

I really hate integrating Vanish as a part of our rotation. I liked Vanish as an escape or even as raid recovery- now I have to blow my vanishes for DPS.

Subtlety isn’t my cup of tea, maybe some people like it. Outlaw is fun but it’s a lot of things to watch for with little return - I’d rather play a Ret Pally or Unholy DK if I am gonna melee. Maybe even a survival Hunter.

rogues do best in 1v1 situations groups arnt really what they are good at.

Former sub rogue main here, I absolutely love rogues next to monks. If I had more time to play like I used to, I’d play my rogue, but my monk can clear content a little quicker, and I get basically instant queues for rolling tank. And honestly, I have a little burnout over years of playing rogue, so monk just feels like the next closest thing, but with healing and tanking capabilities.

We exist only in the shadows.

fades slowly into stealth

Yes, Rogues exist, you just can’t see them!

Yeah. They’re just hiding.

Basically this. Of the damage only classes, rogue is the only one that isn’t ranged and has only really one reasonable spec to play. I suspect the vast majority of rogue players switched to DH back in legion.

IM not making assumptions. I suggest you work on your sarcasm detector

Are you really that obtuse?
