how much weight do these carry now in war mode? if they do matter where would be a balanced server or a horde centric or alliance centric. just curious since i’ve been away from the game for over 5 years at this point
Yes and no. Lots of things are cross realm now, even guilds, so if you found a guild on another server and a group of friends to play with — it doesn’t matter that much.
If you’re someone like me who plays solo in WPvP and occasionally plays with friends, then yes, it matters. There’s no “official” list, but your realm determines the other realms you’ll see in War Mode.
For example, on Bleeding Hollow for me, I typically see Area 52, Tichondrius, Sargeras, Stormrage, etc. However, I never see lesser populated servers though like Cenarius or Gurubashi. There’s just a whole different side of War Mode that I’ll almost never see because of my server unless I’m invited by a player who’s on a realm who is sharded with those other server.
where would u go to see how these realms are in world pvp. i’d say im similar to you in how I do my world pvp. mostly solo, but I always enjoy it. when I was in thrall I did see a lot of area 52 horde but that could be because its a very popular server from what i’ve been told
I’d go to Dragon Isles to see how these realms are. Old world sharding is a bit different compared to current content zones, so just fly around Dragon Isles to the PvP WQ spots or just hot spots like Tyrhold or Dreamsurge vendor.
