Do people not understand how PvP works?

Each thread and complaint I read really feeds into the fact people don’t understand WoW PvP. You go into bgs with questing gear, learn about your class and other classes and buy PvP gear. You learn how to PvP by being stomped on. Thats how life works, thats how WoW PvP works. Stop complaining about gear. People who actually care will get it and stomp on people who don’t put effort. Isn’t that the point of the game?

i mean their is a gear ceiling for casual content that is overshadowed by gear from outside said casual content, so it is a valid complaint. its often not a matter of skill but of numerical advantage.

As to “how life works”…WoW is an entertainment service thus if people arent being entertained they leave and RBGs die again. Real life works on a time invested versus benefit expenditure. If playing a game mode isn’t granting reward for equivalent time invested(like the current ceiling for renowned locked gear for example) then people are simply going to move on to pve or other games. mass complaints is a warning signal of this transition

on the gear part, its not fun to get stomped because you are trying to get some gear to be on par with others, its not fun when you have decent gear and you are stuck with people who have no gear and get stomped in bgs mainly due to undergeared players dying in random bgs, its easier to get gear in epic bgs, like ioc and wintergrasp, you can actually use cannons, vehicules or rps and be way more useful versus 10-15 man bgs

No, we go into bgs to play other random players and are beaten to a pulp by premeds in Raid gear!

Exactly, i have been stuck at 186 ilvl for 3 weeks.
