Do people actually find solid teams in LFG?

I’m just curious what others experiences have been because the people that I’ve played with in the past have been totally uninterested in PvP since WoD and don’t want to put time/effort into learning the new meta.

My brother hit 2800cr entirely through people he found through LFG.

He was playing at 2900 MMR playing Enh/WW/Hpal with no voice comms with people he, again, found in LFG.

You’ve just got to be able to “git gud” yourself, and be able to get a firm grasp on whose worth playing with and can climb, and whose hard capped.

Ok, cool. I’ve honestly just never made real use of the tool outside of random RBGs to cap. My 2400 exp is essentially ancient at this point so I’m just going to advertise some chill groups or join others at low CR and claw my way up.

I finally decided to try some games on my hpal today and made a group in lfg. “Low cr arena noob wanting to L2P”

Had a cool feral join up and give me some pointers as we played. Went 12-3 before I had to log. The losses were my fault (overlapping stuns, getting too aggressive and stuck in chain cc) but he was cool about it.

I’m always worried I’ll join groups and bring down the team. But I had a good time today and made a btag buddy so I’ll be queuing up again. I say give it a shot.

i found my teammates in lfg legion s1 and ive gotten glad with them 3 times now so yea i think it definitely works you just can’t give up on people after a dozen games, esp if you can see potential in being a solid team

I’ve found people I like to queue with. We don’t have the most success, but they’re fun to talk to and play with, to an extent. I’ve tanked this week because of just playing with people I have fun playing with. But there’s only so much losing you can handle before it’s no longer enjoyable.

I’m actually the same exact way. If a team is even 100 rating higher, I don’t even apply sometimes because I’d feel bad if we lost. If I do, I’m at least honest about my CR and exp.

Then I get people to apply to mine that are 200-300 CR lower and lie about it in their note. I just don’t get that kind of deceptive play.
