Trust me on this I have 2 computers , one with A Rx 6600 and the other with A 150 oc by Gforce and they is not much difference the 1050 oc works faster than the Rx 6600 in wow with 359 to 360 fprs.
Some of us play other things than just WoW lol.

If you have any decent graphics card, your WoW experience is almost certainly going to be CPU limited. It doesn’t take a hot-rod GPU to show WoW in all its glory, but you do need a fast CPU.

I upgraded from a RTX 2080 to a RTX 4080 and the difference was noticeable. My RTX 2080 was pegged at 100% GPU usage and obviously hindering my FPS.
But video settings and resolution are a huge factor. It’s definitly possible to play WoW on some pretty meager hardware if you need to, and don’t mind dialing back some settings. I play at 4K, max settings, with Ray Tracing enabled.
I also have a 5800X3D which is still one of the best CPUs for WoW so less chance of a CPU bottleneck.

And I’ll upgrade whatever I want. But my current bottleneck is actually my monitor, so I won’t be upgrading my GPU anytime soon.

What if I have no GPU (Ryzen 7 5700G) and I’m looking to buy a RX 7900XTX?
Well I upgraded my CPU, RAM, and storage as well. Went from a i5 6400, 16 GB DDR3, 1 TB SATA SSD to a i5 12600K, 32 GB DD4, 3 TB NVME SSD. Pretty much doubled everything.

I’m perfectly happy with my 1660Ti. But I only play WoW so I don’t ask for much lol.
The funny thing is, I have an original iPhone 4. It basically can only make a phone call with the battery life of 1 hour but eh it’s there lol.

Get any X3D cpu and then you can go ham on the GPU. My 3080 12gb hits 100%. 4k 144hz

I’m still using my 1080 that I bought almost exactly 5 years ago. But I ordered a 3060Ti last week.
I have a high refresh ultrawide monitor and I’m hoping the newer card will provide more FPS in places where my 1080 struggles.
If I had a standard 1080p monitor I wouldn’t have upgraded the GPU.
