Check the amount of plaguefall I ran in the past couple days, I’ve seen 1 Phial of putrefaction drop and it wasn’t for me of course.
As a result I’m now completely burned out of my rogue and kinda just want to delete him.
I had to share because I’m on the verge of insanity
I seen my first poxstorm drop for my DH this week… 10 months.
But i do have a 252 vial so…

I hear ya. I did a little over a dozen ToPs on my Shadow Priest to try getting Soulletting Ruby and eventually someone funneled it to me.
And then I got a 252 from my vault that Tuesday.
It took me near 20+ runs for my Changeling trinket to drop from Mists and I had a tonne of guildies farming out DOS for various trinkets too. Need a smarter vault loot system for the bad luck.
I have a priest friend who’s been farming that cloth haste/mast helm, and has done PF 60 times, or more last season. Let’s just say he doesn’t play his priest as much anymore.
Last season. I farmed the tank trinket from De Other Side. I finally got it from my cache after doing the place about 50 times.
Maybe this is why raids have lockouts…
it’s just ridiculous, my friend has the same problem with the DoS trinket.
Or, just make other trinkets in the game not bad, and make it worth doing other dungeons for.
This is the actual solution.
There are so many garbage trinkets that literally no one actually wants.

Trinket acquisition does seem a lot worse than BFA. At least with that phial. The Quantum device on the other hand has been falling from the sky.
Don’t forget you can also just go in on M-0 with 4 friends who can loot spec for the trinket. Just kill the 1 boss and you’re done. Same chance as getting it on a M+ key run and only takes a few minutes.
That’s how I got my Hakkar tanking trinket last season and my Phial from Plaguefall this time around.
Just dont do M+, problem solved, sanity saved.
Omg LOL damn that’s a whole lot of runs. Take it easy yo. I’m so glad I’m casual AF because doing 30+ PF runs over a week and a bit would do my head in
I can relate. Two weeks ago I endlessly farmed +10 ToP and higher for ruby and didn’t drop once. I almost got burned out. Luckily the 252 version was in my vault.
Same scenario this weekend in SoA with ordnance but it dropped twice. The warlock in my party needed the first time I saw it but somehow it was in the loot box again the run after for me.
Can’t wait to do this all over again in 9.2.
Easy solution put gear on a vendor like PVP. People like working towards a goal instead of playing World of Casino-Craft.
It took my Bear 2 season(9+ months) of running DoS at minimum 10 times a week to get the Blood Spattered Scale.
And I never did get it to drop, it was finally GIVEN to me by somebody that didn’t want it.
Same for my Shaman and the Unbound Changeling except I STILL haven’t gotten it and it’s going on almost a year straight of farming.
The kicker is, even if I got it right now, I’d have to refarm it again next patch.
Something does not feel good about this system.

thats why you farm more then 1 thing at a time
get board/burnt out farming X, start farming Y. or better yet, farm them both at the same time
