Yes. Honestly I want rogue openers to be scary. You don’t die through all CDs and I played a long series vs pshero last night like a lotttt of games. The more we played the better the games went.
As ele arms hpal the pacing and ability to live got better with each game played.
From piffzorz intercepting and popping defensives to save pally bubble. To our swapping the rogue and making him more scared.

I’m pretty sure the biggest reasons people die fast is not even understanding what happened.
People don’t even have access to things like BM trinkets yet.
Other soulbinds have defensive options like venthyr legit has a tier that’s 10% dmg reduction below 40% hp.
Hybrids can actually offheal now thank the lord but it’s mostly casts

“Non-go” damage should also be scary enough to not allow players to have horrid mispositioning.

Hunter is incredibly close to the pillar, gets charge stunned with recklessness from the warrior, and has to trinket the charge stun and deter or he dies.
Damage has to be high, damage has to be scary.
Rogues Can open with cheap shot every single game coming from stealth. Rogues are currently killing in that first single opening cheap shot.

2.) I’ve qd more arena on Beta than you, including last night.
3.) We had 6 games vs Sub rogues.

A rogue dueled my Destro lock from stealth, complete 1v1, with cheap shot on his bar I assume, and somehow, my Destro came out of that duel alive and we recovered.
I am not saying there are not egregious outliers, I am saying that nerfing all damage by 25-30% is a meme and how we get ssns like the current one.
I 110% think you should be able to kill someone solo in under 6 seconds if you press your CDs and they press 0 mitigation abilities.
Just so we’re clear, in that clip Venruki is literally completely naked. No barrier, no damage reductions, probably sub 15% versatility, and the rogue pressed numerous cooldowns.

I think if you pre-alter time a go from one dps and you’re at near full hp, you should probably live.
Otherwise, why have alter time in the game? It can’t even save you from one dps.
Sub rogues hit very hard from stealth. It will get tuned I guarantee it. But I hope not too much, tbh.
From several times dying in the opener to taking a game into the 7-8 minute mark against ele sham + ret paladin, the game felt really good. Initially it was seemingly unfair to die in a cheapshot one time… but it also felt good being able to dumpster that same player in a stun behind a pillar when he overextended. It felt like we were trading insane damage in goes like two heavyweights landing haymakers on each other round after round until someone went down.
There is a new learning curve. Classes now have new buttons and synergy that I didn’t experience in 2k games played this season on live. I may have killed @Stickiriikii several times on priest mind games myself accidentally.
I will say this: Cupid cleave was insane last night.
Few things to unpack here.
1.) Alter time lasts 8 seconds. You are currently saying that if I simply press Alter time before I get stun chained for 8 seconds, with numerous offensive CDs hitting me, I should just live that stun chain because I press alter time before it happened? That is a meme.
2.) There are numerous ways to use alter creatively, it will assuredly save you in other goes, for example, if he had trinket for that go and blinked, he would likely have lived. Then alter would have teleported him back, and had him at full HP.
3.) Also useful for displacement, I alter top, i drop down, you follow, I alter back up.
To imply that simply pre using alter time should somehow keep you from dying is a meme.

I wasn’t there, but it looked like it was supposed to be a 2v2. Maybe he wanted shimmer to deal with the rogue’s teammate.
