This current situation is Troll Paradise and they are going around to different topics
and trying to convince people that the whole situation has them so upset that they are deleting their account and YOU should too and then they post a link showing how.
That is BEYOND RIDICULOUS, It’s JUST a lawsuit and nobody is yet guilty of anything! And how exactly is deleting your account going to punish the bad guys but not punish the thousands of innocent employees who did nothing wrong?
If you delete your account, odds are you will be back in the months to come with a fresh account and discover those trolls didn’t delete anything, and they will tell you “You really deleted your account? LOLZ I was only playen bro, you got PWNED dude, LOLZ!”
People trying to convince others to delete their account should have their own account deleted by Blizz, they can’t complain because they told others they were going to anyway.
I cant speak for those who have been telling others to delete their accounts, but im pretty sure it’s being done to highlight how even though people are saying that they are done with the company and never coming back, they are leaving the door wide open to change their mind.
That people are speaking with such conviction on the topic, but aren’t prepared to do the one thing that means they will stick to their word
No one should be coaxed into deleting their account, but if players believe their continued support of the company is somehow wrong and encouraging of the latest problems that Blizzard is facing, it’s their right to permanently remove themselves and find entertainment elsewhere.
Again, I don’t believe anyone should delete their account. But grown adults can make decisions for themselves.
Yep I’ve told people to delete blizzard account to delete all their Toons.
If they’re going to take a moral High ground and say they’re done with the company over the latest accusations don’t expletive foot around do it but most of time when they say that they’re just hashtagging type of person… where they think they put a hashtag in their Twitter post and they’re saving the world
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with mentioning the option, especially for those of us who have said that this was the last straw for them. Anyone who has spent enough time on the forums knows very well that there are many people who say they will quit, say they will leave, but they don’t follow through. (I personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with that though)
Deleting your account is a big step and there’s no going back, so I definitely think it’s something people need to think long and hard about before they do anything drastic or extreme.
Deleting your account moves from “virtue signaling” to actual action to illustrate how unhappy you are. It’s easy to take a stand and tell everyone about what you are doing when you are losing nothing but actually giving up something of value is where most people draw the line.
By the way, I don’t recommend that anyone deletes their account.

Innocent till proven guilty is about the person faciing justice.
It does NOT dictate guilt or innocence.
lots of innocent people get wrongly convicted…lots of guilty get set free…even just on technical issues but knowing they ARE guilty (wrongful searches, etc).
I cannot believe that some keep using this ‘innocent till proven guilty’ line to pretend like the persons ARE actually innocent and then magically BECOME guilty when a verdict is read, lmao
No…they are GUILTY the ENTIRE time…even before the first charge is made, lol.
the courts must satisfy their own question about guilt before they convict or imprison…but not yet having made that determination does NOT VOID the guilt (or innocence) of the persons being accused.
The troll that posted about deleting accounts has supposedly deleted his account at least once, but yet he is still here trying to get people to delete their accounts. His profile is “hidden” so you can’t see anything about him or what he has posted. I won’t post his name, but most people know who he is. The fact that he is still here posting proves he didn’t delete his account.
I want this company to CHANGE its ways. I dont want it to be sued into bankruptcy.
After reading a lot of the suit, yeah, there is a lot of accusations flying and I am not dumb enough to believe that that much crap over a couple years was investigated and this was presented and none of it is true and unproveable in a court of law.
But again, I want change to happen.
I want the company to FIRE anyone who discriminates…anyone who shows ANY partiality whatsover.
youre not there to give jobs or favoritism to your buddies. Youre there to WORK and to hire the BEST persons for the job, man, woman, other…black, white, red yellow or green. American or African or Asian or martian…none of that makes any difference.
one thing i HATE more than most anything else is partiality. Showing favoritism in an environment where it should NOT exist at all.

Actually you can and even if they have alt symbols.
Just highlight and copy their name and if it is for their activity you put it in the search at the top next to your avatar and if it is to see their profile you put it in the search of the main wow page to check the armory.
I have posted the link a couple times but only in respond to people who said they will never play another Blizzard product again. If they actually meant it, then they should have no issue with deleting their account as the ultimate sign of protest. But we all know that the majority of them are just full of hot air and will probably be renewing their WoW sub the next time it comes up.
