The now-useless notes aren’t the main problem. Probably late to this, but the moment you learn the last schematic through Comprehensibly Organized Ideas, your scrapping no longer gives you inventions, meaning you no longer have inventions to scrap. Completely destroys your scrap income. This has gotta be either a bug or massive oversight. I spec’d for scrapping and essentially hard nerfed myself.

At least when you unlock further specs, the discoveries are possible again.
They just completely ignored my ticket and didn’t understand why it’s such a huge problem.

I had nearly everything learned on like day 2 of early release… I have a pile of notes and love that I spent all those points in scrap thinking it could be a fun way to collect stuff.

I went full inventing thinking I would get better stuff from scrapping, but all I get are dented cans and broken stealthman toys. I was gonna make that mount but its not worth the effort.
We need more blingatrons and stuff. I made my wormhole and really stopped bothering.

Same. Worthless toys is the only thing I have gotten other than a couple parts for the insanely expensive mount.
I’ve gotten hundreds of the bolts which are easy to get, the other crap ; after reading people scrapping like 30k worth of thorium for other parts make me not want to bother. Hours of sitting there scrapping.
I scrapped about 3k worth of old stuff that I found really cheap. It was a lot of scraps and I got like 300g worth of stuff back. You get something of real value so rarely that I think you would probably need things at vendor or below prices to make anything off of it.
