In thinking about how we are fighting Gallywix, I’m very curious on how Gallywix decided that it was a good idea. The man was with the Horde and saw the various feats of strength of the champions of both the Horde and Alliance, and the various enemies destroyed in our wake.
Gallywix is going to shoot into outerspace to be cryogenically frozen while he holds his pinky to his mouth
You know he could be used for other characters. He can do other voices. Other voice actors have done multiple voices. Maybe get him a character that people like.
I didn’t see a bunch of people coming to the forums saying ‘Don’t kill Azshara’ when we found out she was going to be a raid boss.
You are reading a pattern in where there is not one. Honestly, the most comparable examples to Gallywix becoming a boss is the Alliance character Staghelm.
I don’t suspect he planned on taking on either the Horde or Alliance. If I had to guess he planned to stay more under the radar and just take over the Cartels. But then Gazlowe gets everyone involved.
That makes sense.
People like Gallywix. Ion told me so.
Prior to BfA I would’ve been completely on board but one of the few good parts of that expansion’s main campaign was making Gallywix a delightful character to have around. And one of the many bad parts of that expansion’s writing was starting to establish workers’ rights as Gazlowe’s defining characteristic.

Bingowaffles.
Bro, that’s your only standard? We had barely seen Azshara back then. Now we have, and we love her.
I don’t recall having to fight two villain-batted Alliance High Kings.
Just don’t put him in the patch is the way to go.
Again, I don’t think Gallywix should’ve been a Horde leader to begin with. And he hasn’t even BEEN a Horde leader for the last 5 years.
Just to be 100% transparent, there is no combination of words you can sling together to convince me that killing another Horde leader, former or otherwise, is good/warranted/excusable. In-game rationalizations don’t matter, because this is about tone deaf decisions being made by the people writing the story. It would be like Fyrakk burning down Amirdrassil and then expecting people to go “yep, makes sense, he’s a big fire protodrake and it’s a tree.”
Not going to lie, but that would definitely be me. At least to myself. But I genuinely do try to sympathize with what people are going through. If they’re sincere about it at least.
Other than that, Gallywix somehow surviving his raid fight would be on par for him. He always manages to come out alive in the dire situations he ocassionally finds himself in
I mean, they were a so many stories they could go with, and they decide what they need to do is kill another Horde leader?
At a minimum it is bad optics.
Bro, you were the one that made that particular comparison.
And we get to it. You are reading a pattern in because of something else you are upset about something else and that make you see everything as attached to the thing you are upset about.
Gallywix is nothing like either Sylvanas of Garrosh. Gallywix was pretty universally disliked (again, by Goblin players). People had been calling for his replacement for years. Blizzard finally did it. And they replaced him the the person everyone wanted him replaced with. Blizzard did what the Horde players asked for. Gallywix is gone, out of the Horde. Now we have people like you acting like he is Garrosh 3.0.
And then people would be screaming ‘where is Gallywix.’ The same people here complaining he is going to be a boss would be calling that ‘ignoring the Horde lore.’ They would still be playing the victims.
He’s a dreadlord so he ain’t going anywhere unless we kill him in the twisting nether.
Bias. Stop claiming bad writing and tone deaf choices based off nothing but your opinion. Some of you need help.
I want him dead
Mate, he was hardly ever horde to begin with. Dude undermined the horde more times than helped them out. It was gazlowe in the background helping the horde vastly more than Gallywix.
Goblin here, can’t wait to finally kill him.
I think he learned after BoD and has an escape pod. However, something goes wrong and he crashes and it goes BOOM, he dies.
1 Horde character is looted again. Currently the rest of the Horde is so underdeveloped that nothing can happen this time.
