Prefacing this by saying I don’t like boosting and wish it was banned in any shape or form. (including paid boosts from blizzard)
But banning it should not harm legit players just farming instances for gold. Paladin tanks aoe-farming Strat UD was a very popular gold farming method back in TBC, but with these new changes allegedly limiting you to 1 minute in combat before mobs start spamming unavoidable stuns, you can’t do that anymore. At least, not in any decently quick/efficient way. This is just one example, there’s lots of other instance farms that get broken by these anti-boosting changes.
To stop boosting, you don’t need to make drastic changes like this, you just need to cut EXP gains. This has been suggested countless times, just something simple like “if the mobs are grey to anyone in the group, exp gain is reduced by 95%”. That’s it. That’s all you need to do to stop boosting, at least for levels 1-55ish.
Can you stop trolling for once? All you do is rage bait, nothing else.
You have no legitimate claims on how this help solo farmers or solo dungeon leveling, all you talk about is how it will stop RMT which it wont, stop coping and stop trolling in the forums.
It drastically messes with the market because bots farm Strat and sell their items for real money. It directly ties into RMT. Do some research to sound more knowledgeable before posting on this forum. I’m all for opinions, but they should be backed up by legit facts, otherwise your opinion is moot.
Considering you need a fairly geared prot paladin to solo farm it, no they don’t lmao
Even if they did, nerfing a gold farming method isn’t going to stop RMT, it’s just going to make the bots move to the next best farming method. Gonna nerf that too? And then nerf the next one? Where does it end with hurting legit players in an endless cat-and-mouse game with bots?
