Do NOT give Horde any special port to Gnomeregan!

Booty Bay and Ratchet have had their quirks where certain classes had free reign on PVP where they could kill and not die, while others could not retaliate while surviving.

Ratchet is particularly egregious in that Horde has zero cost to camping the Flight Path and again if Alliance attempts anything, the guards make it a raid vs you.

While optional, Ratchet makes early-level content considerably more convenient. Alliance has to travel to Mecca to do Scarlet Monastery, so why give Horde this benefit?

I truly want justice. SOD never gave Alliance a new “neutral area buff” or any remedy.

I would like to be the jerk that takes advantage of free kills knowing they are not allowed to do anything or they just die faster.

There is probably going to be a port to the raid instance just like BFD has (after you kill the first boss at least).

Well at least I hope…

I’d be more sympathetic if I didn’t have to run through two level 30 zones and deep into three alliance zones to unlock 2/3 of my class’ play styles. Comparatively, I think you got it alright dealing with occasional PvP in ratchet when you wanna save some time getting to WC.

When they tear down that bridge in AV, then you have my permission to complain. xD

poor alliance have so many favors they just can’t stand if horde get on

There is a port from Booty Bay to Gnomer BTW. I just want you to know that it was there already before you lose your mind in P2.

LOL

Honestly just put a bunch of guards there who only assist players who have gnomeregan exiles rep and we’ll call it even

Compared to the Alliance having to run

Ironforge → Loch Modan → Wetland → Arathi Basin → Hillsbrad → Silverpine Forest
to get to SFK.

Or

choice of
Ironforge → Loch Modan → Wetland → Darkshore → Ashenvale → Barren to get to Wailing Cavern OR
Ironforge → Loch Modan → Wetland → Theramore (Lot more swimming) → Barren (This can also be used to get to Ratchet as well).

In the future, Alliance’ll also have to run to RFK, Scarlet Monastery.

Horde have easy access to Deadmine because their zeppelin goes to upper-part of STV near the beach, which they can reach by swimming toward it. They’re also fairly close to Duskwood, and Redridge. Both of which are not Alliance safe-zone, but rather neutral zones which Horde can kill off Alliance players if they were planning to attack the hordes.

Even then. Warlocks, and Paladins’ll have to go thru Wetland no matter what to get to the Tower.

(I also will not neglect to mention that while Alliance DO have the Wetland Skips if they’re playing as human/dwarf/gnome. However this requires them to learn about the skip in first place either by others telling, or find it browsing stuff.)

The port itself truly doesn’t bother me. Horde having a port where they have free rein over Alliance but Alliance don’t have the same benefit is the part that bother me more.

Also, there ins’t a convenient Scarlet Monastery port or Flight Path for Alliance. I just want the grief, hassle, and dejecting gameplay to be laid out equally.
