Legion was released on 2016…I bought before the release.
Since this went live, has anyone who found they were token-locked actually used the 60-day-game-time purchase with balance that was gained from tokens to successfully unlock their ability to buy tokens again? Or does it strictly require a real-money purchase?
(I’m still a bit fuzzy about what’s actually going on here with this change)
edit: nevermind, thought I was affected by this but just double-checked and I’m not
well, looks like I can buy token now…don’t know what triggers it back on. Now lets hope it goes down back to 200k

I looked back on account transaction list and could not find any real money payments since 2017. So yes, people that have only used blizzard bucks to pay for stuff do exist. I even paid for my expansions and bought a mount and a pet!

Yes but you have an older account so you would have been grandfather in. This is more so going to affect new accounts try and buy the token and see if it lets you before you state that you were affected
Many people in this thread and others have said that they thought they’d be affected but they were not.
Hopefully they drop to 100k ish…would be most excellent… my 40 bucks will turn into around 90(ish) and get the 90 buck expansion for half off lol
lmao it aint china farmers anymore, its south americans. its a transfer of weath and embezzelment by blizzard, they aid and inbed this poop. this will absolutely have 0 affect on any farmers they will just sell gold and buy a sub like they already do lol. its a 100 million dollar industry running keys and carries and selling mounts. there are devs clearly involved. thats all tax free

It won’t accomplish this.
It will only cause subs to be lost from players who don’t want to pay any cash at all.
