in wc3 they didnt but thats because they were poor and couldnt afford anything
when they joined the alliance in wow they started trading with the alliance and finally got enough money to afford dressing properly
its why they lost the bikini armor in vanilla wow and just wore plate

They wear boots. I think the only WC3 unit, besides the hooved races(which aren’t elves) that didn’t were the druids of the claw. Everyone else had foot protection, as seen by… well, the in game models, cinematics, etc.

Well, in game most of the NE citizens are in classic leather, but some priestess have naked legs. From the book I only remember one picture where Blizzard painted Night Elves citizens, it was evacuation moment in Stormwind.

-its hard to understand, but it seams that all of them does. But there was another picture in the same book, when half of refugees hadn’t boots.
