Do naga reproduce sexually?

I’ve never seen a quest that calls for destroying their eggs, or something like that. We can end the naga problem really easily if someone were willing to cross that line…

They do lay eggs in areas called spawning pools. We saw one of them on the Lost Isles (goblin starting zone). I think we stole some of their kids there. But yeah naga reproduce like that.

Their hatcheries are probably hidden around the ocean well guarded and impossible for most to reach. So you’d have to find them first!

We kidnap their children to force into battle against wild animals so I assume so!

Why does everything have giant anime eyes?

I still think quests that have us destroy creatures eggs are war crimes. Unborn creatures can’t possibly be guilty of anything. I try to avoid those quests if I can, unless Im rping an evil character.

Children generally have proportionally larger eyes and heads compared to the dimensions of the rest of the body.

Well, it’s a snake, and a smol baby, so it makes sense the eyes are big, this is a cartoon game that exaggerates qualities to give it cartoonish design.

And give them the chance to raise the little bastards to kill us? How many lives can be saved if we kill the runts while they can’t defend themselves?

One comment,Leave the kids alone.

Big eyes and heads trick your monkey brain into loving something quick, you see it as something that needs to be defended and taken care of.

Its an easy way to get you invested in a creature.

They are called new born infants, I’m calling child services. >.>

Sentient creatures cannot be punished for a crime they haven’t committed yet. Because there is a chance they wont commit said crime.

Well then my monkey brain must be broken because looking at that thing does not make me love it nor want to defend it.

Right like when we destroy harpies nests and eggs spider eggs and well any eggs. I absolutely hate that quest was it in stranglethorn? You have to get raptor eggs the raptors come to defend them and the traps you set down kill them ;_{

Why do we have to steal poor unborn babies eggs and kill their parents to get them ;(

Given their numbers, I always figured elves reproduce via parthenogenesis.

They lay eggs which implies there is a process of fertilization for the race.

Could assume Naga Females are dominant and just collect what they need from males before eating them. Like Insects do.

They reproduce like fish. There are hatcheries.

I was thinking of puppies, kittens and the little naga baby~ Human babies I’d consider creatures too, since I am a creature myself.

I don’t see it as derogatory I suppose!

Poor little Naga! I don’t even want to use him in battle, he’s very cute I think.

Seems your monkey brain is in working order then.

They reproduce like fish, the female spews out eggs and the male swims up and fertilizes them. Most fish spawn every month, and the outcome is around 20 babies. The Vashj’ir intro quest was pretty spot on for what it would be like if we ever tried to fight them in the sea… a total bloodbath and we’d all be dead. Sheer numbers.

Lore wise, the only thing that was keeping the Naga swarm at bay was Helya’s Kvaldir army. Undead sea vrykul. So an army of sheer numbers and an army of undead that could just be dragged back out of Helheim. Shame that all got wasted for a one off daily zone. :woman_shrugging:
