Do Naga lay eggs? 🥚

They’re technically transformed elves, which means they are of mammalian origin. However, Naga seem very serpentine and fish-like, so do they lay eggs like reptiles? :snake::egg:

I wonder what a Naga omelette would taste like. Maybe that’s why N’Zoth chose a reptilian form for Azshara. He wanted an infinite supply of eggs for a giant omelette. He only wants to take over Azeroth so he can finally rise onto the land and enjoy his healthy and delicious breakfast.:egg:

You can destroy incubators in Aszuna during world quests so I assume so

Yes they do. In the goblin starting island you come across a spawning pool of naga eggs and babies. Also upcoming in Nazjatar is another large naga hatchery.

There are snakes that lay eggs, there are snakes that give live birth, and there are a few snakes that can do both!

Yes. That’s why baby Naga are called Hatchlings.

Its going to be a little awkward when I get that showcased naga child pet. Might be a really REALLY estranged relative’s kid for all I know.

Hope he fights well when I use him in pet battles.

The incubators you destroy in Azsuna are Murloc incubators.

I thought snakes gave live birth? Or some do, I think.

Healthy and-- look, the size and number of eggs that omelette would need is vast.

No way is that conceivably healthy. We’re talking about hundreds of kilos of cholesterol here. Dark as his heart my be, it’s still got arteries to clog.

That’s egg-citing!
