If I strap on a couple of axes, for example, even though the animations shows them cemented to my back, do I still get the “+5 Agility” & DPS ratings? I know monks typically use fist weapons, but I’ve found them to be scarce at lower levels. Thanx in advance.
yes, any item you have equipped will provide you with stats, regardless of being used in your attack animations or not
Thanx, Hematologic - so it’s like a mages “stat stick”. Only thing is, a mage can still bonk someone on the head, if he really wanted to. However, it seems a monk’s weapons are not actually used for DPS - or am I missing something.
pretty much, its just an asthetic thing, the vision for monks is hand to hand combat

Not only does it provide stats, but the damage is also calculated. So an axe with 259 damage and 45 agility will give you dps from the pure damage and the agil.
Thanx, Felharis.

For the longest time wpns were just stat sticks, but now as of bfa white dmg and attack abilities are based on the weapon.
