Decided to read back on some WoW lore and i was curious if the blue flight still uses Mage-Hunters.
I highly doubt the Blue Dragonflight would still keep Mage-Hunters themselves, especially considering their current situation; not to mention not having much of a use for such. At the very least I can’t recall Mage-Hunters aligned with them in any recent depictions.
That’s not to say Mage-Hunters don’t still exist somewhere. If WoW’s history is any indication pretty much no group really dies entirely. At best they just fall into obscurity.
Well said, thank you
The Argent Dawn would say hi, but they’re dead.
The Argent Dawn/Crusade took heavy casualties on the Broken Shore but there are still members of it living and presumably active. That many such members became part of the Silver Hand around that same time further doesn’t negate that allegiance, at least arguably so, as other such organizations have been shown to retain autonomy since those events.
While somewhat unrelated, but still in support of my original statement, the Scarlet Crusade has more or less been destroyed on at least three occasions, I think; only to survive in some form to continue their overzealous antics.
Before Arthas manged to destroy Tyr’s Hand, some did escape to Northrend on boats.
I do not imagine that the blue dragon flight would still widely utilize mage-hunters, as the Nexus Wars are over. That being said, I do not think it is insane to believe that they might have kept some around to go after rogue spell-users. I also do not think it is insane to believe that other groups may have their own versions of mage-hunters to counter enemy spell-users.
