Edit: Can you elaborate just a bit, LĂlbaby? What kind of logs are you referring to? Quest logs? Account stats?

Your logs will remain attached to the character that has the logs and the server. They will not transfer to the new server but if someone has the old character name and server, they will still be there.

Yes, Warcraft logs DO transfer now.
I know this because I switched servers and names on my mage when I switched guilds and the logs carried over just fine.
They didn’t use to though, it’s a relatively new feature (last year or so) as far as I know.
Just make sure you’ve got your warcraft logs account linked up and all of that.

I have my acct linked but i have both the chars there the one that i name changed and transfered and the one i had on my old server

Literally beat me to it by a second.
Every character ever created has a unique ID number in the system.
Regardless of the character name, faction, gender, class, server, etc. the ID number never changes.
Everything that character does is tied to that ID number.
You can change names, servers, factions, or whatever but that ID number is what identifies the character in the system.

Well, I guess if you get up off the pot too quickly, yes, your logs will follow you.
I mean, I say that out loud to old people who stand in my way while I’m playing Pokémon Go with my kids so… I guess I have it coming…
