I understand Voidwalkers are used for tanking in open world, and felguards are for demonology. But what about other specs like affliction and destruction? Do certain pets matter for those specs or can i just use whatever? I am mainly focused on pve content.
Pets are normalized outside of vw and fg. That being said the abilities are always worth taking note of and melee vs ranged pet can make difference
It doesnt hurt to have one. The Imp can put a some dps for sure.
Suc can be used for PvP for it’s control, Fel Hunter in dungeons for it’s dispel and interrupts, while Imp can be used when the above utility is not needed (but also comes with Singe Magic). VW is great for solo functions where you’ll be taking care of the aggro.
Felguard is exclusively Demo, and is their default pet.
